Hi! Lost starts tonight!!! Really looking forward to that. Plus, the new batch of One Piece graphics novels should be out and I'm going to get that special pokémon at Gamestop. This should be a pretty good day.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! So I've been playing 'Bowsers inside story' lately and, MAN! This game, I do day, is very epic! I love it :P It's like right up there with KH, lol. And so I've been wondering: (if you've player the game to the pipe yard, you'll get this) What would happen if Bowser found one of those pipes Mario used to exit Bowser?
It would be like a super paradox with Bowser inside himself o.O
Oh and I was wondering, if I wanted to, say, post a web comic here in the forums for a short time for critic where should I do it? And if it gets good 'reviews' would you consider making a section in the forums or on the site (with your comic), Josiah? Just asking >>

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Damn, I haven't posted in this thread for a while. I guess because spiralling downwards into the black abyss of mental illness and instability does not a fun post make. My life sucks, but I try to share as little of that suckage as possible with you other Forumites and instead post funny things in the Games section. This is because it makes me feel a little better to be that fun, random Doodleshark online than the severely depressed teenager that I really am. I don't want to make others sad or worried with updates of my near-weekly complete mental breakdowns in which I roll around on the floor whilst simultaneously crying and giggling like a madman; nor of my long, frequent rants about why humanity/society and everything it represents is horrid, pointless, self-destructive and eventually going to die. I'm starting to ramble now, but I guess my point is that the reason I don't post here much is because I don't feel like dragging my poor excuse of a life online with me, because it tends to ruin the fun.
Also, the Winter Olympics begin next week. Yaaaaaay.

Hi!
I hope things improve for you Doodle. I'd also like to point out that sometimes mental issues are actually caused by severe food allergies and/or chemical imbalances. Sometimes a healthier diet, staying away from foods you eat often (like wheat or dairy, for example), and some vitamins can make a big difference.
NG, if you want to post a comic of yours on the forums for critique, you can do it in the Art section. But unless it's PV or PVF related and I really really like it, I probably won't make a special section for it.

Hey.
That's too bad, Doodle... but I know what you mean. I remember one time I was just really upset, and it was just a bad day all around, and it was on the bus back from marching band... tireness + really, really upset me = snappage. I started laughing like crazy. About 5 minutes later I had regained control of myself, however, it was so much easier to be the bubbly, crazy, me than the really depressed me. So, I just stayed crazy for the remainder of the night... acting like I'd gone over the deep end. Eh. Oh well. Hope things improve for you, Doodle!
Anyway... we tied against the toughest team in the league at our hockey game today... whoo....
Ugh.... enriched pre-calc quiz tomorrow and an english test.... sob....

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
No such luck. I got a blood test a few months ago, and they found nothing abnormal. Also, I have... a history of mental instability. When I was very young I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, and I have dealt with this all my life. It's only in the past few months that I've also had to deal with the soul-crushing depression. I don't know what's wrong... I live in a middle-upper class family in a great city, I have great parents... up until this year I've been an A student, and now I'm barely passing. My sleep is erratic and can vary from three to eight hours from night to night; even when I get all the sleep I need I'm still tired the entire day. Like I said, this has been going on for months... I don't know why, but today I just felt let letting everything out, all the frustrations like the medications that don't work, the psychiatrists who all ask me the same questions and can't help me but don't refer me to someone who can because they don't want to have to do the bleeding paperwork. It's only recently I've been able to see somebody at the Royal Ottawa Hospital, who actually seems like they know what they're doing.Josiah wrote:I hope things improve for you Doodle. On a lighter note, Ottawa beat Buffalo tonight. Woooo.

Ohayou...?
(Cramming for midterm at unholy hours of morning is not suggested)
Sorry to hear what you're dealing with, Doodle. :<
All I can say is, hopefully the depression will lift soon. Not much you can do about Asperger's Syndrome, I suppose, but we're all here for ya. :/
Yesterday, I bought a bag of Hot Cheetos, mistaking it for a bag of normal ones. My last experience with the things was in elementary school, where I took a single Hot Cheeto about the length of my pinky finger, brushed off most of the chili powder on it, ate it, and promptly half-drowned myself at the nearest water fountain. Needless to say, I wasn't too keen on eating an entire bag of them, but just now while reading up on pelagic tunicates, I got hungry enough to try.
Oh the pain. It burns.
However, it wasn't too bad until I'd eaten 10-15 Cheetos, so I guess my spice tolerance has been going up over the years. oo
Now excuse me while I drain my water pitcher. @.@

And another one because they decreased the number of allotted pages on free sites
Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! It could still be food related, Doodle, blood test or not. Most doctors don't look for food allergies, or several other important factors, in relation to mental things. If you're in a very moldy environment, for example, that can potentially cause mental problems as well. Can't say for sure it's something like that, but my dad has helped a lot of people that more normal doctors and the like have given up on, including people with bad cases of depression. If you want to PM me the name the town/city where you live, I can ask my dad if there's anyone he's trained in the area.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
I feel your pain as well when I changed schools that........you get the idea. I probably will end up with depression in a few years somehow. I often like to be left to myself and be anti-social. I prefer to keep my expression an emotionless one for clear stating that I want to be left the hell alone. Now you get why I picked a nobody as my username. As with that hope it ends soon.Doodleshark wrote:Damn, I haven't posted in this thread for a while. Wow, sorry to hear that Doodle et al.
I haven't been able to do more than lurk occasionally this past week because of my organic chemistry midterm this morning - which either went decently or terribly and I'm not too sure which yet. But I hope I passed at least. Reading break in a week, can't wait to go home!

Haven't been on the internet a lot lately, but snowed-in induced boredom has led me back here. I'm probably gonna have to go out and shovel soon...Man there's a lot.
So, in answer to the confusion I caused, yes, Wawa is a convenience store much like 7-Eleven, and is simply the greatest thing on the planet. The funny thing is the one that we always go to to celebrate is actually in our rival's town
.
Oh, really interesting story here. Some college kid in Baltimore recently went to court. The reason? He accidentally killed a burglar who snuck into his residence. The weapon? A samurai sword. I mean, wow. If you're going off to college, is a samurai sword really on your list of things to bring? "Let's see, got my toothbrush, underwear, samurai sword..."
In the ruling it was declared the homicide was "justified". Still, I think the kid should really just ship the sword back home, y'know? Maybe use something less lethal next time, like the generic baseball bat.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Wow, no kidding Sira
I have to admit, I have a couple swords but they're all back in my place neatly tucked in the back of my closet. Most of them aren't sharpened at all so my friend (who wants to be a cameraman) and I used to make little videos of us sword fighting, it was fun!

Hi! If I had a real katana, I probably would have brought it to college (to show off to my friends as much as anything else). It's not that much more dangerous than a bat, when you think about it. And less dangerous than a gun. As for the dead thief, I'd say that he kinda had it coming. First off, he was a thief. Secondly, any good thief should know that you don't rob a place while someone is inside. Not that you should go around killing thieves or anything, but when someone breaks into your house attacking them seems like a somewhat reasonable reaction. Especially since the thief might have a gun or something and panic when he see's that the house isn't empty.
