It's The End Of The World As We Know It!
Okay maybe not really, but today we had a massive dust storm which hit Brisbane (where i live) Sydney and everywhere in between, and also north of Brisbane all the way up to Gladstone as far as i know. And I Canberra there was hail. Meanwhile in Melbourne there were Tremors. Really weird stuff.
All I know is there's dust everywhere inside. We went out before the storm hit and left the windows open so when we got back we walked into a nice dusty house. Now I have to clean everything...

Isn't Canberra the capitol of Australia?
Anyway, wow, that's pretty freaky, even for Australia.

Hi! Persona on the PSP is an updated port of the original Persona on the PS. It's got a new translation (the original PS release was heavily localized and censored) and has all the content that was, for some reason or other, cut from the original US release. It's also got a completely new soundtrack done by the original composer. Speaking of which, the first shipment of copies come with the complete two disc soundtrack. I'm listening to it now.
Looks like I'll probably be going to New Zealand for a couple weeks over winter break with my family. Personally, I would have rather gone to Australia, but New Zealand should be cool too.

Yeah Canberra's the capitol, its also where K Rudd lives and the head governmental place, but going by numbers Sydney's far bigger.Giga-Gar wrote:Isn't Canberra the capitol of Australia?

Hey!
I'm in a better mood today, thankfully. But I'm driving 7 hours all the way to Williamsburg tommorow, so I won't be able to access my web comic from there. oh wel... :(
But Busch Gardens, yay!! ^o^

Hey.
YAY BUSCH GARDENS!!!! Love that place. Sadly, I don't get to go there too much, considering I live about 12 hours away. We visit my grandparents in Viriginia on a yearly basis, though, and they live in Williamasburg, so we get to go to Busch Gardens sometimes. :D :D :D
Bleh. Homework. Math test tomorrow. Whee. Picture day tomorrow as well. Double whee.

I wish I could go to Williamsburg... *coughCoasterFanaticcough.* I live two hours from an La Ronde, an amusement park in Montreal, but there are only like three really good rides. The rest are either really rough, have lines that are way too long or are just plain boring. The good rides however, are really good (Especially Goliath, which i consider to be t3h greatest coaster in Canadialand).

Though nobody in the insult tournament would have noticed, this is day 6 of my internet crisis.
I do not have internet, and I do not know why. I've been very worried about the insult tournament, so I've been posting in that from the library and from school, thinking it would be over soon.
Alas, it was not over soon, and so here I am at the library telling you all of my woes. So, yeah, that's why I haven't posted in Misadventure or here lately.
I'll keep you guys posted.

Hi! Good luck getting your internet fixed, Stevenson!
I finally got DDR working on my HD TV (before it had a slight lag due to upscaling my PS2's non-HD video signal that caused everything on the screen to be displayed a fraction of a second later than it should be, completely ruining my DDR timing)!
A real pain in the neck though. It required a bunch of internet research, a $50 converter box from China (that cost another $20 to ship here), some setup and tweaking, and three trips to the nearby Fry's Electronics to get all the neccessary cables. I swear, at times it almost seems like the universe doesn't want me to exercise...

Hey.
Algebra quiz today, which I'm pretty sure I did really good on. Many of the questions were solving systems of linear equations (with both 2 and 3 variables). There's usually SOME obnoxious tiiiiny mathematical error I make along the way that screws everything up, but this time I was sure to go slow, 'cos I knew I had time. I also went back and plugged my answers into the equation to check them, and lo and behold they were right and I never needed to go back and change the answer! YAY!
So, basically, unless I made some grave mathematical error when checking my work, I know I have many of the questions right, which is a good feeling.
Also, For Crying out Loud by Meat Loaf was stuck in my head all day, and is still there. Whee.

Hi! Speaking of internet problems, my cable has been going on and off all morning and it's starting to get on my nerves. To save time and frustration, I'm going to go do some non-computer related stuff for a while. Hopefully it'll be working again by the end of the day.

Hey!
I just came back from Busch Gardens, and it was a blast. :D The only coaster I rode was the Loch Ness Monster, I was too scared to ride the Griffon and stuff like that. Anyway, it was fun. ^-^

Scribblenauts deserves your money, or your pirating efforts.
