Hey.

Band Camp. 8:30 AM to 9:30 PM. Fun stuff. Tired. They give us foods, though :D

Lots of fun. Less people than last year :(. There are only 5 new people that I know of, and 3 showed up today. Two color guard and a percussion. One of the missing is a trombone, and we have no idea what's up with him. The other is the fabled 4th trumpet, but.... it looks like he wants to quit. Which is really bad, because he has to be in a spot in the show. Me and another trumpet are supposed to circle around him for a set. It looks silly without him! GRR.

Anywho, our show is the B side of Abby Road. AKA, all songs that were originally on the B side of the old Abby Road record. By the Beatles. So far, fun stuff. There's a part where the trumpets just go to the front sideline and stay there for a few sets :D. I like that part :-P

Well.... should get my rest fer tomorrow. Gonna be another busy day.
May the Triforce be with you.

THE Abbey Road Medley, Saber? That is my favorite piece of music... all 16 minutes of it perfectly tied together, and The End and You Never Give Me Your Money and She Came in Through the Bathroom Window SABER THAT IS AWESOME! Because and... Here Comes the Sun are on side B as well as the long medley. Are you just doing the medley or the whole B-Side?

Cheezdude loves The Beatles and listens to them almost constantly. Look at my Last.fm signature. Odds are, there'll be Beatles stuff. Go and buy the album 'Abbey Road' or 'Revolver' right now. They are the two best albums ever (other than The Pixie's Doolittle, which currently owns my avatar).

Tough day today-class, followed immediately by work. I'll probably get home rather late, so I won't be updating Smirk's until tomorrow, if anybody's planning to sign up.

Hi! I just got Dissidia so don't expect to see me much today...if it ever finishes installing. <.< It should not take so long to copy a few hundred megabytes to a memory stick. The claimed "faster load times" better be worth it... I ended up getting the entire Dissidie PSP-3000 pack. I've kinda been wanting to upgrade my original PSP for a while (mainly for the TV hook-up) and I figure that my old one will make a good birthday present for my brother in a few months. Dissapointed that the US bundle PSP is just an ordinary silver PSP though. Japan's had a nifty Dissidia design engraved in it.

Heso! Good news, people: Silver has a job! Which means money! Which means he's gonna be getting that Dissidia PSP pack too, once he's got a few paychecks under his belt... first because it's silver and silly little engravings don't matter, and second because he wants to multiplayer with Colly and Kyon. Kyon having already obtained it through piracy, Colly planning to buy it in the near future... Silver also wants Birth by Sleep to be an available option.

But... working time means less video game and internet time, and also classes start soon, so...

Silver is happy though, because working time does not mean less Colly time, because we're going to be working together! Yay Burger King! Yay girlfriends that talk up their significant other around managers thus helping them to get jobs!
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Apparently getting a job here is super special easy. I'll be seeing whether this is true or not today when I go to try and find one. The great thing is if I can't find a job at the mall (which is closer to my current house than the beach was to my old one. Which is pretty dang close) I can always work at the restaraunt Kevin used to work at. There is a job for me there but I wasnt to look for something different first.

I guess that's proving the old saying though: "It's not WHAT you know it's WHO you know."

AND OMG yesterday I had Sushi for lunch. I've never had PROPER sushi. It's soooo good! Num^_^

Alright American forum members! Pack your bags, we're moving to England! The Obama Administration says that we will be adding 7 trillion, no, wait, 9 trillions dollars to the already 11 trillion dollar deficit! I am not paying for someone elses' debt, let me tell you.

Also, I think I might have lost a friend due to TV Tropes. It's a stupid thing to be mad about, but he hasn't talked to me in about four weeks. I'm giving him two more weeks, but if he still doesn't talk to me... well, you can't save every friendship, can you.

Hellou!

Well, I'm not going to be as active here because of school, so please don't kick me out of something if it seems like I'm taking too long. It's only the first day and I already have several hours of homework, including a big introduction essay which I just finished. So, yeah, not as active.

Hello!

School is back on my schedule, and now things will be even harder as normally. Same with Phonox, I won't be as active as I used to be, I'll only check by for my roleplays and portal panic, etc.

Good News: Well, I hope me and Silver have settled our differences.

Anyway, I didn't notice any confrontations between you and Silver, aside from that little fiasco in TSK's intro thread.

Poor TSK, I think we scared him off.

You got a job, Silver? Good for you :-) . My bro works with his girlfriend too, which happens to be the same place I work. Though I haven't been working as much since pre-season started. So far I've had to dump a few of my shifts onto my brother, one was on Saturday :drop:. Yeah, don't know how good our terms are right now.

Hehe, I expected a comment from you. Yeah, we're just doing the medley, no Here Comes the Sun. I have first trumpet for Because and You Never Give me Your Money. Next few songs (we haven't learned this part, so I dun remember), I have second, then for the last few I'll have first again. It's a lot of fun... but there's a part where we start marching double time, that just HAPPENS to be at the hardest part for trumpet. About 1/3 throug the double time, though, the trumpets come to a halt, allowing us to play the rest of our hard part in piece.

Well, after two days of band camp, we've managed to memorize (not very well, mind you, but I know my part. Just kinda hard to execute it when marching so far, and there are several people who don't have the peice memorized yet) the first song of the show (which is really two songs: Because and You Never Give me Your Money) and we can also march it. The final thing we achieved today was marching and playing the first song. Whoo.

My feet feel like they're about to fall off, but band camp is still awesome :P

Me neither, Gar. I honestly have no idea where he's getting the impression that I have some kind of grudge. Or that we've "settled our differences" because 1. Nothing was settled and 2. I still don't remember having any differences to settle.

But, you know, I can't tell him what to believe.

Heso! Gar, please explain to me... how you can lose a friend through TV Tropes. Sure, I'm a Conversational Troper, but it has yet to cost me a friendship. Geez, it's started to rub off on a lot of my friends, even. And sure, I'll get stuck in an Archive Binge, maybe even while talking to Colly, but I can usually find some amusing trope that relates to Tales in the process and we'll both get a laugh out of it.

...Which ended up happening right now because I went to TV Tropes to get those links. I should have known better...

Hi! The sakura trees are pretty, but they're only in bloom for two or three weeks a year (which weeks depends a bit on weather and what part of the country you're in, but most fall in the late March - April period), the rest of the time they look like pretty normal trees. I've got a ton of pictures of them in the March and April parts of my Japanese Travelogue, if you're interested.

O.O Of-course I'm interested, cherry blossoms are just so cool! I would really enjoy going there when they bloom. Maybe for my 22th birthday I can go. I saw pictures of people having picnics under them. (Sighs) Such beautiful trees.
