I've been playing Wii Sports Resort this morning, and made it to the final level of Swordplay Showdown... it is the GAYEST level ever...

Nintendo was so stupid to make the dam* Mii's with only one heart so UBERLY powerful!!! Every time I attack on a wide open spot, the game GLITCHES on me and the attack bounces off and I take damage. ugh... I give up...

Anywayz, VBS is fun, but my crew is way too unruly. It's hard to shout at them over the loud music. I have to be strict with them, which I hate to do, but I have to. Though, on a more positive note, the songs are pretty cool. Better than last year, not quite as good as two years ago.

So I'm going back to Ontario for 2 weeks starting next week to visit my friends! Not only that, but I don't have to pay a cent! How? My dad's the one going out and he asked if I'd like to come since I didn't really get to do anything exciting this summer. He even agreed to pay for the tickets if I agreed I'd blow a few days visiting some ancient old relatives I've maybe met once in my life. Ah well, it's better than paying almost $300 each way.

Hi! You know, WS, the game doesn't actually glitch. The Miis on higher levels just have really good reaction times, that's why it's the lest level and all. If you've having trouble, you're not playing defensively enough. Block their attacks then get them when they're off balance.

On another topic, if you like rhyming games just wait till the Week of Randomness...

To answer Eclectric's question, my thesis is on traditional vs. player-driven storytelling in media (with a particular focus on video games).

Yeah, things really pick up during The Week of Randomness, but I can't remember what day was the rhyming challenge. I think the most annoying one had to be not using verbs. At least for me it was.

Hi! Yeah, that MSM thing... Actually, as far as I can tell it's not actually my program that's the problem. Marley was was the one who got the watever that thing is and it seems to like spoofing my user name, which it got from his address book. I'm pretty sure I didn't actually catch it from him since it should have tripped my virus or spyware scanners if I had.

I pretty much finished the first draft of my thesis yesterday (yes!!!). Hopefully all that's left are some minor revisions and my defense next semester.
