Hi! Just a couple more days till E3.
I'm starting to get excited... I also managed to get nearly all my homework done in advance. Took a lot work, but worth it since my free time is gonna be pretty limited for the next few days. Anyway, I probably won't be on again until sometime tomorrow evening. Got a 6 hour drive to look forward to tomorrow.
In other news, I found a new programmer for my game project, so work on it will hopefully speed up considerably.

Ah. Yay.
And about E3, we expect Miyamoto to come on stage holding a 360 and a PS3, drop his pants, and you can guess what he does next.
I would pay to watch that.

I'm glad that Valve said that they planned on attending E3, I'm hoping for information on Portal 2 and Half-Life: Episode 3.
Hey. Went driving on my own for the first time today. Was nervous at first, but then I figured out that it's rather nice driving alone. I plan on doing it more often.

Hey.
Played at graduation today, so I didn't get back 'til late. It actually went quickly, as far as graduations go. Knew some people that graduated. Mixture of emotions going around there. Bunch of the graduates were crying, a bunch were ecstatic, and another bunch just kinda looked like there were in a daze. Seeing my friends graudate was sad, definitly. I was all "awww...me no see them no morez next year! Waaaaaaaaaah!" But, it was fun (though playing music the entire time the graduates marched in dragged on FOREEEVER. Doooo dododo doooo dooo, dooo doo dodooooo. ARG! POMP AND CIRCUMSTANCE! OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OOOOOVVVEEEERRRR) We played other stuff, too, and that was fun.
Well...back to my homework. Bleh.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! The E3 show floor opens tomorrow at noon! There's actually been a couple of cool announcements already, and Sony and Nintendo have their press conferences tomorrow morning before the show floor opens, but that stuff is strictly press only.
So anyway, I made it to LA, though not without some trouble. First off, the rubber started to peel off one of the back tires on my car about halfway to LA. Fortunately, I noticed it before the whole tire could fall apart in the middle of the highway. Unfortunately, the time it took to get the whole matter resolved and get new tires put me around two hours behind schedule (and, of course, I had to pay for the new tires) so I arrived too late to pick up my badge holder today. Not a really big deal, since the badge holder pickup opens up tomorrow morning several hours before E3 starts. I'll probably have to wait in a big line, but at least I won't miss anything. The other problem came when I actually got to the area around my hotel. First, I drove around for ten minutes or so trying to find my hotel since my directions had it listed as being on the wrong side of the road. Then, when I finally spotted it, I got to drive around in circles for a while longer trying to find a place to park. In the end I had to park in a parking garage (and blow several dollars for the privallage of doing so), walk to the hotel, and ask them where the heck their parking was. But I finally did make it. The hotel is pretty nice (which is good considering how much I had to pay for it) and it's only about a mile from the convention center so I can walk if I don't feel like waiting for the shuttle. It's right down town in the middle of the jewelry district. Only problem with that is that the entire area (restaurants included) seems to shut down at around 6 PM. Good thing I brought food.

Konbanwa.
E3 is where again, LA convention center? Man, you'd only be a Metro ride away if I were at home...as it is, I can't randomly decide to visit you. Drat. :/
Weird as that may sound, I always get excited when I hear people I've only ever met online are headed to somewhere in my vicinity, or if I'm headed somewhere near them. Guess I like the idea of meeting them once and making them 'real' friends. Not that the current situation, where all of you mostly exist as text on a web page, isn't satisfactory, but...ah well. Just my wishful thinking.

Hm...I'm in a very strange place right now. My mom and sis were out clothing shopping and when they came home they had a girls name and email address. Now we're chatting and probably going to get together soon. On one hand I'm grateful that they'd do this, but on the other this feels really weird...mixed feelings suck

Heya.
Had some free time today (unlike yesterday), so I went out and played frizbee with my dad for a bit. T'was fun, even though we couldn't find the good frizbee. Been a few months. Was a bit rusty, but by the end I was back into the swing of things. Whoot.
Well...after that nice break, back to my homework.
Oh, I got a nifty letter in the mail. Some school award or other, and it isn't just the usual high honors shtick. My mom was talking with other parents, and apparently it's different than that. Neat-o. No idea wut it's for, though. Have to wait until Thursday night to figger out wut it is. Ta.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! E3 is awesome this year! Not quite as awesome as it was in 2006, but still really awesome, especially after the last two years. And I'm talking both show floor and announcements. I'll be writing all about (with pictures and everything) on PV in tomorrow's update and Monday's update. I'd write about it on Friday, but I'm leaving LA right after the convention hall closes and probably won't get back to my apartment till after midnight so... I can't believe they announced Final Fantasy XIV... Of course, as was a lot less interested as soon as I heard that it was gonna be an MMO. But anyway...
Too bad you're not around mandi. It's fun to meet online friends. Or occasionally strange, depending. But I'd definately like to meet a lot of the forum members someday. Like Google [Bot], for example, I'd bet he'd be a great guy to hang out with.
Oh yeah, do to limited free time. I won't be posting in RPs or Portal Panic till the weekend. Just so you know.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hey.
I've often dreamed I've met internet friends (they usually look somewhat like their avatars if I have nothing else to base their appearance off of. Either that or an RP character :P). It would be cool/strange to meet them in person (and I think my parents would be quite ticked off and paranoid...yeah, I'd be a bit paranoid as well, but whatevs), but I dun think any of y'all live near my home in MA.
Watched college softball yesterday. Washington won 3-2. That was the final game (well, if Florida had one, there would be another game since the series was 1-0 Washington). Washington won.
And, according to my dad 'cos I was watching softball, not hockey, Pittsburgh beat Detroit, making the series...2-1, Detroit? I think?
Meh. I kinda stopped caring as much when the Bruins went bye-bye.
Off to skool. Ta.
