Hey.

Woah, Nab. That's both random and awesome.

Well, yesterday not only did I march 2 parades and stand around forever at a ceremony, I stood around in a ceremony, marched a blisslfully short parade in my hometown, stood around at ANOTHER ceremony, then went to a differnet town and marched in a parade. The parade in said other town was scheduled to begin at 2:30-ish and we were somehow schedueled to get home at 3:00-ish (I figured it would be later, though.). Thought it was a short parade.

YEAH RIGHT. 2 and a half miles, or so I've been told. NOT FUN.

Got home around 4:20-ish with hurty feet and sweating to death due to the fact I've been in that uniform practically all day and it was HOT out.

Mleh. Not how I inteneded to spend my Memorial Day. At least I got to play echo taps at both servies ;-) I iz the pwnage freshie trumpet (but Saber, all of the trumpets are freshies. And there are three total. Soo? One guy to to play taps, and I gotz the echo taps! ECHO TAPS IZ COOLER! You keep telling yourself that.... I'M SERIOUS! I getz to stand far away from everyone else in my ninja hidden location, and everyone's all "OMG where'z that awesome music coming from?" *all turn around* "O LOOKIE THAR!" ...right...)

Hi! Sounds like fun, Nab. Despite all my traveling, I've never been on a cruise. I'd like to sometime though. But probably not to Alaska. If I go to Alaska I want to hike.

Thanks, the story behind this spontaneous trip is kinda strange. When my mom was setting up the plane tickets for my sis' trip to Taiwan she noticed that she was missing a huge amount of points on her card. So she phones up the bank and found out that when she switched cards a couple years ago from a vacation cash card to a vacation points card, they didn't move over the vacation cash. So for the last 2 weeks the bank's been trying to figure out how to transfer the cash into points, and then gave up and said just use the vacation cash by the end of the summer. So yeah, Alaska. I think I'd be more excited if it wasn't a "oh by the way we're going to Alaska next month" sorta situation, but ah well. Should be fun!

But why Alaska? Why not, say, Hawaii, or Florida? Alaska's a strange place to go for a vacation.

Hi! Alaska is actually a popular cruise spot (along with Europe and the Carribean). Also great if you like hiking, fishing, or other outdoors type stuff (though not much on a cruise).

Heso! The other big thing with Alaska is it's very scenic. Snow and mountains and open ocean... and if you go during the time of year when it's pretty much always dark (which would greatly inhibit hiking and fishing, I immagine), you've got the starry night sky and the Aurora borealis to look forward to.

Geez... I feel like I should be making a travel brochure... "Come visit Alaska!"
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

I've only been on a cruise once, to Mexico. That was several years ago, before the drug wars and swine flu. It was fun, I guess, but I spent a lot of time lying on my cot being seasick. For some reason being on a tiny fishing boat is fine, but on a giant cruise ship I feel nauseous.

Konnichiwa. One of the Ragnarok Online servers I play on is currently glitched in that all female accounts spontaneously became male. I'm laughing so hard right now, seeing all my characters as guys. They just look so funny. XD

Hihi ^_^

Well I'd like to go on a cruise someday, have no idea where though.

And Just for the sake of figure I'm going to keep this shortish. I cut off part of my right index fingernail and the skin under it at work yesterday. I have band aids all over it now, it makes it difficult to type... So many typos! Good thing i have spell checker. ^_^

That must have been painful...it kind of reminds me of the time I accedently stabed myself in the hand with a pencil,it didn't hurt much but I bled alot and still have a small piece of the pencil in my hand.Hope your finger gets better soon.

Konbanwa.

Speaking of accidental self-injury, I recall taking the skin off a corner of my thumb with a shaving razor once 'cause I didn't know what the little plastic cover was for. Obviously I was a little kid and totally stupid. No permanent damage though.
More recently, I dropped my pencil point-first on my toe a few days after moving into my dorm early this school year. A chunk of the lead broke off and stayed in there for a few weeks. Forgot exactly how I got it out. Nothing's left to show I had it either.
Probably the only time I injured myself for any extended period of time was when I was, like, two. Stuck one of my fingers into the gap between an open door and a wall. My friend slammed the door shut a moment later. Neither of us have any recollection of the event, since it was before our brains developed enough to store memories, but looking carefully at my fingers on both hands, I noticed that my right index is slightly twisted and approximately three millimeters shorter than my left index. Given that I'm right-handed, and generally use my index finger to poke things, I concluded that it was that finger that got smashed in the door. Seriously don't remember any of it though.

Oh wow, that sounds painful Kaida, DG, and Mandi! The only visible injury I have is a scar I got from my cat. This was back when we still had her, we had her for a good 10 years and the vet said that she was at least 5 when we got her. But yeah, she loved sitting on people and just sprawling all over them, but one time something scared her (I think it was the tv) and she jumped off of me really quickly and her claw dug into my right arm. I don't remember if it hurt or not, but the scar's pretty visible.
And to answer the question of why Alaska, I asked my mom and she said it's because the port we'd be leaving from is in walking distance to our house, but I'm not sure if she's just joking around or not  Also, that's an awesome point Silver, I've always wanted to see the Aurora Borealis! I'll definitely take a picture if I see it!

Hey.

I still have a scar on my knee (though it is barely visable) from when I was like...6-ish? Yeah. Tripped and fell, and somehow cut myself reeeaaally badly. It sucked.

And, in my dream last night I somehow cut myself on glass, but it didn't hurt. Left a huge mark on my arm, though. Good thing it was just a dream!

Well...skool today, 'n' stuff. The skool seems rather empty without the seniors. They got out of skool last Friday! WUT'S UP WITH THAT? All the rest of us folk don't get out until JUNE 26th! RAWRG.

Why does skool have to go soo long this yeaar?

I'M FREE!

Last day of school was today, and it was a half day! I just got out, and now I don't have to go back until late july when band camp starts up! I'm happy now.
