Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! That sucks Cheez, hope things get better soon. And good luck on the exam, Silver!
As for me, I'm trying to get a whole lot of different things done today, none of which are particularily entertaining. Just not enough time in a day (or my vacation)...
Some good computer brands (in no real order):
Alienware (overpriced, great for serious game systems)
Dell (reasonable prices, pretty good service, solid over all, what I usually get)
Apple (very overpriced though and not as amazing as they're made out to be, only really worth the price if you're an Apple diehard or very fashion conscious)
Lenovo (more geared for business though, and often not as customizable as brands like Dell)
Sony (slightly overpriced, great multi-media PCs)
HP (not quite as solid qualitywise as the others but mostly good)

Thanks for the list Josiah, I put up a new thread comparing some gaming laptops if anyone could put their two cents in. Bah, I'm bored. This just goes to show how utterly addicted I am to video games. Also, I found out that my two best classes this semester were english and (this was honestly a huge surprise) chemistry. Oh, and I failed biology with a 49. Sucks. Maybe I'll swap over to chemistry instead of biology next year.

Hey.
I has an HP laptop, and I is loving it so far. Dell has never worked out nicely for me, no idea why. Just tends to freak out on our family in general.
Sooo...today in World Civ, we learned about torture devices from the Middle Ages. *shudder* It was....creepy to say the least. The teacher allowed a bunch of people to leave the class if they felt queasy at all. I stayed all the same, though. It wasn't bad enough to make me leave...but it wasn't very plesant either. Uuuugghhhh....

Oh that reminds me of a show I've started watching, Deadliest Warrior. It compares weapons and styles of different fighters around the world and decides who'd win in a fight (stuff like a Spartan vs a ninja). Out of all the stuff I've seen, I would never, ever want to fight a Roman Gladiator. Those weapons were made to be cruel

Yeah. Did the Lit exam. I finished the essays about 20 minutes early and decided I didn't care enough to do proof reading so I marked the next page Question 4 and just wrote random stuff. I don't think any of it will be read.
I find it funny that during AP tests they tell us "Don't EVER speak of the multiple choice section EVER" ("oh, did we mention EVER") and yet they give out copies of old tests for practice. I think the AP testers do not know the meaning of "ever."
I must have failed that AP test too because it seemed a bit easy. Good thing the AP tests are more like extra-credit, and getting bad scores on them really doesn't do anything.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Oh my gosh the stress I've had since yesterday Afternoon!
We got a service on the car adn found out the steering on it is buggered, so we have to get that replaced.
Now my stress is in 5 days we're supposed to take the car on a long-distance drive. To replace the steering rack costs a heckuvalotta money that Mum and Dad would have to save up to afford.
So I'm lending them the money out of my savings.
Unfortunately the first place we were going to get it fixed wouldn't have any places open to bok it in for a couple of weeks.
This made me cry. I mean how the hack would I get to Brisbane!? So I asked where else could do the repairs.
So we thought outside the box and it's getting fixed as I type this^^ Unfortunately I still have to use some of my savings money, but Mum and Dad will pay that back.
Everything turned out fiiiine^^

Hi! My school's registration department seems to hate me. At least I think everything is finally sorted out. Not that there should have ever been anything to sort out to begin with but... Oh well, I should just forget about that and get working on cooking. Our congregation is having a Morrocon meal tonight and it seems like I'm in charge of about half of it.

Hey.
Lost our softball game today, but they were a very good team. It's all good.
...hmm, Eragon's on TV. Hated that movie. Watching it to see if it's really as bad as I remember.
I came in like 3/4 of the way through, though and haven't read the book in years, but I can already point out several innacuraccies. Bah.
Well, our softball team is having a sleepover. How the person hosting plans to fit all of the girls, I have no idea, but whatevs.
Ta.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Heso! Guess who just passed his driving test? And guess who is six points of identification away from being an officially liscenced driver in New Jersey? Well, probably quite a few people...
But Silver's one of them! Yay!
Now I just need to actually get a car.
Yeah...
Also, had to laugh at my sister. She was all, "You'll never pass the test unless you take the six hours of driving lessons! You're going to FAIL and DIE! Just suck it up and pay for them!" Guess who did not take six hours of driving lessons but still passed every single section of the road test, right down to parallel parking? That's right, also Silver. So PWND'd~

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Hey.
I don't like writing three consecutive essays, one being a DBQ. I haaaate AP tests now. On the bright side though, I didn't have to go to classes for the rest of the day, so that's kinda cool.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Only been about half a year since my last post. I'm ahead of schedule!
So, heya folks. I finally got around to playing my Platinum version. I got it on launch day (I pre-ordered for the sole purpose of that goofy little Giratina statue), but a combination of unabashed sloth and my inability to come up with a clever character name delayed my playing.
Whenever I get a second version of these games, I usually go out of my way to avoid using guys that were on my previous team. As a result, I've taken an unexpected shine to Kricketune, what with his hilarious bug-stache and all. Heck, he's worth using just for his awesome battle cry.

Hi! The Morrocan meal went well.
Congrats, Silver! Not sure what the drivers test is like in New Jersey, but in CO you're pretty much guarenteed to pass as long as you're sober, don't run a red light or stop sign, and don't crash into something. All that drivers ed my mom made me take was a total waste of time...
And hey, nice to see you around, Baboon!

You don't have to take driving lessons?! I'm next to positive that taking driving lessons is NECESSARY in order to get your lisence in Massachusetts. Grar.
Okay, so, awesome sleepover. The best part?
OUIJA BOARD! THOSE THINGS ARE SOOOOOO FRIGGIN' AWESOME (and spooky)!
Say what you want, I myself am really skeptical, but it was really freaking me out. It definatly moved. Whether it was our invoulntary subconsious or spirits I cannot say, but it moved of it's own accord.
For all who don't know, here's what a Ouija board looks like:

You and a few others put your hand on that heart-shaped pointer moves around of it's own accord. It's make of plastic, the board is cardboard. No tricks, so far as I could see. For a period of time, I was playing with people who had never used a Ouija board before, and they got angry when it "stopped working" (the "spirit" had gotten mad that someone came over and acted disrespectful and the pointer had moved to the "good bye"), so unless they were acting, none of them had been pushing it earlier. You really just have to trust everyone when they say they aren't moving it.
After asking the "spirit" about itself, we started asking stupid questions like "when will we get our next boyfriend/who will it be?" For everyone else, the time was between 1-7 months.
For me, it was 31. :P Woooooooooow.
Yeah, I don't really believe any of the stuff the board says, but it's still a lot of fun.
May the Triforce be with you.
