Spring break pretty much amounts to massive console gaming in my case...Fun stuff.
Nice job beating Zant. If I recall, he was an interesting boss. Doesn't the background switch to remind you of each of the temples, or something like that? I don't really remember. I don't remember him being too tricky, though.

Well, our team won our playoff game! Whoo! Next playoff game is on Sunday! Man, it'd be great if we won. This'll be my final playoff as a town-team-er. Next year I'll be a highschool-team-er. It'd be great to FINALLY win a championship.

Heso! Once Upon a Mattress happens in a week! We still haven't choreographed Sensitivity! Fun times!
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Hi! I made it to GDC ok. Only got about four hours of sleep last night but I actually feel pretty good (thank you Endo Supreme). Had my Konami interview. I think it went fairly well, but I didn't make it to the second round of interviews. Little disapointing, but I'm not too surprised. I was never really expecting to get the job in the first place. Konami Japan doesn't hire foreign designers all that often and they're a very popular company. I bet there were some applicants both with much more game design experience and better Japanese than me. I think I made a good impression though. The interviewer told me to keep an eye on their Japanese job listings and apply again next time there's an opening.

But anyway, I really should get some sleep. I'll try and catch up on forum stuff tomorrow evening, unless something comes up.

Hey.

Aaaaaahhhh!!!!!1@1212! Regionals are in two days!!!!!! I R TEH NERVOUS!

I really, really want to go on to States, and I'm starting to get really, really pissed off at myself for getting my hopes up. In my opinion, it's never a good idea.

I'm super-nervous, 'specially 'cos we're the improv challenge. We could get a terrible superstision assigned that we can't think of anything interesting to do with. Or or SOD might not work... Or...*babbles on*

Hi guys. I got back from HOSA state compitition. I can't tell you much about it, since I'm about to leave, but I did place 5th place in about 16 people taking Pathophysiology. I don't even know how I even placed since I didn't even recognize half the stuff on the test.

I'm done thinking for the rest of the year.

Nice job on the test, Gar. Good luck at regionals, Saber. If you have been practicing hard, you have no reason to be nervous. Just relax and do your best. So, is GDC fun, Josiah?

Oh, there is every reason to be nervous. This is Destiantion Imagination we're talking about here. I'm not sure you quite understand our challenge. It's improv. As in, it's totally different each time. We get assigned a random supersticion, and we have to make a skit around it and make an origin for it. We also have to make the skit using one of 6 sleuths we've researched (which they will choose at RANDOM), three movie genres out of 6 we researched (which they will choose at RANDOM) and we also have to create a brand new SOD (Supersticion Origin Detector) that helps us find the supersticion. It has to move by its own power. Not to mention we need to flat out come up with a brand new skit every time....its tough. But it's fun.

Ugh....softball is getting me a bit aggrivated. We have three catchers on the team and two pitchers. I'm usually the one that gets left out....which is depressing (I'm a catcher, if you missed that).

So pumped for tomorrow. Pre-DI party. Then we gots regionals on Saturday....*nervous*

Ok, I'm finaly able to talk about my compitition. So, on sunday afternoon, we left for Chattanooga and got there at around 10 pm. Nothing special there. Monday, I just went to a city cafe with some friends, studied, went to a Chilli's for the fist time, studied some more, got in my suit, went to orientation, then to a banquit. Now, on tuesday, I took my test. As I said before, I didn't know half the stuff on that test. Some questions were like "This hormone is secreeted from the a)adrennal glands, B) Thymus, C) Anterior Pituitary, or D) Posterior Pituitary." After my test, I finaly started having some fun. I went to the aquarium with two other people and it was so awesome. First was the river adventure. there were river otters, lots of trout, and even some seahorses. Oh, and seadragons are awesome. I got to touch a sturgen, look at lots of turtles, and see for myself how big Koi can acctually grow in Japanese rivers. After that, I went to the ocean aquarium, where there was a butterfly garden, sting-ray petting tank, and a huge tank full of sharks, sea turtles, and lots of fish.

I could have totaly explained that better, but I can't, nor do I want to because I'm exausted. *falls down*

Sounds like you had fun. Get any good souvenirs?

Calm down Saber. Don't forget, everyone there has the same disadvantages you have in the structure of the contest. You'll do fine, just have fun.

Heso! So this has been... the fastest, most ridiculous, most annoying, most amazing, and most generally weird month of my life. Geez, where did March go? That definitely happened on February 26, and now it's March 26, so...

Geh. Wish I could participate more actively in the KotF.

Hi! Sounds likes lots of people have been doing all sorts of special stuff lately. Don't worry if you've had limited time. There's still more than two weeks left in KotF, plenty of time to get caught up if you try hard enough.

*yawns* It's been a long day. I was hoping to catch up on some KotF stuff tonight but I got back later than I planned and there were some other things that needed to be done. Anyway, I probably won't be on again until late Friday night and it may not be till sometime on Saturday that I actually get caught up on everything here, but I should have a lot more time over the next couple weeks than I did during the last two so I'm looking forward to spending a bit more time here and having fun with KotF.

I'll talk all abou GDC sometime over the weekend.

Hey.

Weeeird dream last night. It involved angel wings, giant flowers, Rock Band 2, my DI team and a button that activated a spring that sent you into an alternate universe. I think it had something to do with Gotta Camp as well...

Soo....last day before regionals. Got my "PROBLEM solving CHILD" T-Shirt on (no seriously, from a distance it looks like PROBLEM CHILD in big white letters on a navy background, but when you get close you see it says PROBLEM Solving CHILD). It was the all MADI'ers were given for Globals. I'm getting myself pumped for tomorrow....as if I weren't already.

Oh, and today in band, we're supposedly getting 1812 Overture. That's gonna be fuuuuuun.....12-ish minutes of pure fun.
May the Triforce be with you.

Don't worry Saber, I'm sure you'll be fine. After all, the best part about improv is, well, the improvisations! ;-) Also, it is looking quite good that I'll be getting one of these either this summer or (more likely, since it's my birthday then) September! Finally, I can sit down and game without hurting my back! The darn back on the chairs they give you here are at least 6" below my shoulder blades, giving terrible upper back support unless I slouch a ton.
