Hi! Nice to see you Neo, it's been a while. The forums may not be WoW, but there's still plenty to do here. :-P

For example, you could get distracted by reading assignments and completely forget what you were going to post here, just like I did.

Good luck with Oceanograpy, Silver. Whether or not classes like that any good is all up to the teacher. I've had potentially interesting subjects bore me to death and boring subjects turned fun. Speaking of school two of my favorite teachers agreed to be on my thesis committee so I'm pretty happy about that. Next week I'm going to actually start writing the introduction chapter. Speaking of my thesis, did I ever mention the subject? It's about traditional (normal, unchangable) storytelling vs. player driven (more interactive, changable) storytelling in media (print, film, and games) with a particular emphasis on games.

Ack! Finals tomorrow!

English finals are going to be easy. He already told us what's gonna be on it. It's only semicolon and colon use for grammar, and everything else is Romeo and Juliet. Math finals, however, look to be tough. >.< Gonna be studying for those all night.

We may have a snow day tomrrow, which would bump finals over one day. Lots of teachers were talking about it, so I have a pretty good feeling it will happen. We're supposed to get like 6 - 12 inches o' snow.

Then sci and health finals on Thursday....not looking forward to those, but health should be easy. Sci will probably be my hardest final. Gah. >.<

Oh, and there was an accidental fire drill today during lunch. Got to go outside. In the cold. Without my coat. Not fun. I wonder why the fire alarm went off, 'cos it certainly wasn't a real fire drill, since the fire trucks showed up (normally, they're there the entire time to monitor the drill).

I was looking after my three year old cousin . I was sorting out some papers and she was
having a wonderful time playing on the bed. At one point she said, 'Sammy, look at this' , and stuck out two of her fingers.

Trying to keep her entertained, I reached out and stuck her tiny fingers in my mouth and said , 'I'm hungry!' pretending to eat them.

I went back to sorting, looked up again and my cousin was standing on the bed staring at her fingers with a devastated look on her face.

I said, 'What's the matter?'

She replied, 'What happened to my bogey?'
Oh man. That's too funny, Shauni :-D Little kids can be very...surprising

Good luck on Finals, Saber! I finished mine last week, and am now on to my new classes. It's looking pretty good this half, as I already took my hard subjects.

You know what's worse than fire drills in cold weather? Bomb drills in cold weather. On bleachers. In gym clothes. For half an hour.

But, from what I've heard, I'll take it over a Calendar Project.

Meh. I've already did my finals before Christmas, so now stressing out here! ;-) I do have the T-CAP Writting Assesment coming up next week, though. Luckily, my english teacher (bless her heart) is doing a fantastic job of prepairing us for it and now I'm dreading it less then I would have a year ago. I also have All-West comming up this thursday, so it should be fun. Get to go to the Cannon Center.

Ooh, not fun. Sounds cold. You have bomb drills?

Wanna know what's worse? My friend swims, and she was at swim practice when the fire alarm went off. Only, it wasn't a false alarm. There was an actual fire.

They had to evacuate, but my friend (and company) were only in swimsuits (wet ones at that) and towels. In winter. Needless to say, they were FREEZING! Finally, one of the parents offered to let them stay in the car to, well, not freeze.

Ugh, I didn't have a winter fire drill (at least not without a sweater), but last year someone opened up some sort of stink bomb, which turned out to be that bug killing stuff. So of course they shepherd everyone out of their classes and outside, but I didn't have my coat. Over an hour later they decide to just close up the school and let it vent itself over the weekend, so I got to walk home like that. >,># Definitely not fun.

Also, got my math test back today, got 74% so I'm happy ;-)

Weird. It seems like everyone had to have a fire drill today. I had one... in pouring, freezing rain. Ya, try to top that.

I had one in pouring rain (some idiot pulled the fire alarm. He was in my class. Saw him do it) in second grade. NOT FUN.

Hi! Guild War guys, Guild Wars.

I had a fire alarm go off at my college back when I was getting my bachelor's. So we all went outside, stood around for ten minutes, then went back in when they announced that there was no fire, just a problem with the alarm system. Said alarm continued to go off repeatedly throughout the day and everyone ignored it. If there had been a real fire, we'd have been in serious trouble.

Hey.

NO SKOOL TODAY! They called it off last night, actually. Postpones finals for another day....

And, my geometry teacher just emailed me (and by me I mean everyone got theirs) the results for the take home test (mentioned that earlier >.<) and the calendar project.
....
B- on the take home test. >.<

And.....A- on the Calendar Project!!!!

I DID IT! I DIDN'T FAIL!

HURAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!

I hope she hands them back when we go there for finals. I wanna know which ones I messed up on. I have an A- in the class at the moment (and finals is the only thing that can lower it), but sadly it's a pretty low A- (due to a CERTAIN test that made me nearly cry). Unless I ace finals, looks like I'm ending the class with an A-. Oh well. Since I got an A last term (they average the two terms together, and then somehow add in finals to that), I should be safe unless I bomb finals. Which I won't. 'Cos this day off is going to be dedicated to studying. After I play some video games that is....
