Hi! Nice to hear that my comic genius is appreciated. ;-)

So, the teacher of one of my classes decided to change the book list at the last minute. Said class went from having five required books to none. Which is good since I have to pay for five less books...but bad since I'd already ordered those books from Amazon since it's cheaper than the school bookstore and all. Fortunately, I can return them for a refund. Unfortunately, I still have to pack them (I had to go and throw away the original box a couple days ago <.< ), take them to a UPS store, and pay to send then back. And I figure that, as long as I'm going in that direction, I might as well check out that new Asian grocery store and go to Bookman's... Good thing I don't really have to start on any of my homework till Monday or Tuesday (though getting through some reading assignments would have been nice). And when I get back I want to apply for a job at the game company that just landed The Wheel of Time liscense...

Anyway, I'm off. I'll be back tonight with lots and lots of posts.

Silver, I could have sworn you go to my school, except that the auditions for Once Upon a Mattress is later this month. But really, what a coincidence. Are there any parts that require bad singing?

Heso! What, because our schools are putting on the same show? That's hardly a coincidence. It's a popular show. Tom's River South (Or is it North? Not sure) is doing the same one, and that's about fourty-five minutes from where I live.

And there aren't necessesarily any parts that require bad singing, but there are a few that require none... like King Sextimus, the mute. He doesn't sing - or talk at all, for that matter - and comunicates exclusively through charades.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

I need to attend an anime convention someday... It's like, on my list of things to do before I die. "Get your ass to Anime North sometime", right next to "Go on a Theme Park Review group trip" and "Actually do something wit my life".

Now the problem becomes that I have never cosplayed before, do not know how, and even if I did I would have no idea who to cosplay as. Maybe my Warcraft character. Maybe then I could team up with my also WoW-playing cousins and we could take over Anime North for the Horde... And then if asked what we are doing at not-Blizzcon, it's because there's no flight point between Ottawa and Anaheim... That would be awesome! ...Which once again brings up the issue of how I'm going to make the costume...

In the meantime, I'll just amuse myself by watching videos of cosplayers who can pull off crazy crap like this.

For the Horde!

Hi! You know Doodle, you don't actually need to cosplay to go to an anime convention. Sure there's lots of cosplayers, but there's always lots of people not cosplaying as well. Speaking of anime conventions... I'll most likely be at anizona (the Phoenix anime convention) in April seeing as it's like 20 minutes from my apartment and all (though the lack of a schedule as of yet continues to bother me). I might be at Anime Expo in CA too, maybe. I'd like to, it's a totally doable drive from here, and my school's anime club often does a trip there, but I don't know about the whole money thing yet (espeically if I manage to get an E3 pass) so we'll see.

E3 pass? Oooooh. I bet that would be awesome ;-)

Wow, I never thought there'd be a convention so close to me. I've never been to one before. I was hoping to go to this one where Pete Abrams was appearing (The creator of Sluggy Freelance) but the hour and forty minute drive was too much (it was a swim meet and soccer tornament jammed weekend).

Hey!

Um, I've been busy playing Sonic Chronicles, and TOS. and If I could cosplay, It'd most likely be as Fuu from Magic Knight Rayearth. All I'd need is a green school uniform and some fake armor and sword and that'd be it.

-.- I seroiusly need to go to an anime convention one day.
This is my RP Forum, Tales of Symphonia Adventures, or ToSA for short. Please take a look?

*Pop* HI!!!!!!

Kaida's been busy. Kaida's going to Collage in about 2 weeks, Kaida has no tools that she needs yet thanks to Sarina Russo.

Speaking of Cosplay. The Supanova's coming again. Kaida was going to go white some friends as Martha Jones from Doctor Who, but Some of them can't make it. *Cough* Astral *Cough*
So Kaida's going to the Supanova as Kazami Mizuho accompanied by Boyfriend who will be going as Kei Kusanagi from Please Teacher.

Kaida's also very happy because last year we had Colleen Clinkenbeard appear, but this year we have Vic Mignogna! And Morena Baccarin! *Take deep breath* SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! ^_^

Hi! I've never cosplayed, but I'd kinda like to sometime. Just never had the time and money (at least, never when I was planning to go to a con sometime in the near future). If I did, I'd like to do Squall from FFVIII (though that'd be a complicated and expensive costume to make) but would likely end up doing something a lot cheaper and simpler, like Kyon from Haruhi.

E3 is fun...or was anyway. They were experimenting with a rather drastic restructuring the last two years, which went over pretty poorly. This year, however, they're more or less going back to the old E3, which I attended in 2005 and 2006 (game design student and all). It was awesome, and you can read all about it if you dig through the PV Old News section. As a game production master's student, I technically should be able to go...but it appears you have to go through some sort of pre-screening process before they even tell you how to register and they've been trying to cut back on attendence from the old E3 so I just have to wait and see at this point.

Heso! Anime Nation isn't quite a convention... it's not as big as your typical con and it doesn't last for three days. However, it's free to get into, which in my book makes it instantly superior to any convention. Last year, Vic Mignogna was there, which kind of made my life. Except not as much as Otakon. Or Spamalot. Also, I've decided it's my life's goal to cosplay as Bolneze Pierrot. Because I'm just weird that way.

Speaking of Kyon from TMoHS... Crispin Freeman was his voice actor in the dub. So my town's branch of the library has decided that we're going to be publicly Hare Hare Yukai-ing. You should try to come if you can, Siranae - you'd get to see Silver make a fool of himself, and you probably wouldn't even know which fool Silver was. Then I'd tell you, and you'd be like, "Why did you guys suck so bad?" or "I didn't expect you to be that white and nerdy..." or "What happened to your face?" or "I thought you were a girl!" ...or some combination of the four. Or maybe some combination of the first three, and then save the last one for Itsuki. Or should I say Itsuko...?
