Tell that to people who have to skip days sometimes cause of religion. No way I'm getting failed on a test because I couldn't go that day. <.<
The ONLY things that can save your ass on tests (especially important ones) are the death of a direct family member or huge traffic of doom.

And yes, you could come, you chose not to, I don't see why someone shouldn't give you 0 for missing a test because of Saskuot.

Hey.
I hate math tests. They take too long.
Envoirnmental Science has been awesome the past few days. We've been going outside and studying our certain sites. We take tests such as water temp, water depth, and find the content of oxygen and carbon dioxide content of water.

On a video game related note, I've decided I should probably take a break from Fire Emblem. It's probably good for me. Decided to go back to my Rune Factory (fantasy Harvest Moon) game. It actually has some storyline, but I can't get any further until winter, because winter causes the lake to freeze over and I need to be able to walk on the lake to get further in the sotryline. *sigh* I'm only halfway through fall. It's taking tooo long, and I still haven't decided who to marry (that sounds soo weird...).
May the Triforce be with you.

I dunno how everyone elses classes worked, but apparently mine went into detail on how to prepare yourself (ie: condoms, etc), and STD's and such came up in the later years of gym/health.

Also, calculus test on thursday = gross.

We've had to do it every year since Grade 5. 5. And it's the same thing every time... slightly more detailed. We just review the body parts and have picture... everyone becomes very immature just for the classes and keeps repeating '******' over and over. Which really isn't funny. We talk about STD and Condoms, but we do talk about... the process.

Err... school was great today. Mainly because I found out about my awesome spectacular GPA in Math and Science. Hooray.

Edit: XD it blocked out the word

It was lonely... you promised you'd write to me, but you never did... the months passed by, and I still thought of you every day, but you never called. I never got any letters from you.

So eventually, I started to lose faith... I thought you had been killed in that terrible, terrible war. Or maybe that you had forgotten about me. It's been so long, you probably found another girl over there... I never stopped loving you, but I didn't think you cared about me anymore, so welcoming you back just would have been too painful for me... I'm sorry. I'm glad you've come back home *sniff*

When they talk about condoms, I hope they say "Condoms are not 100%. Abstinence is" instead of. "These things are foolproof!"

to quickly change the subject, my english teacher wants to change the Senior Summer reading Book from The Scarlett Letter to Lord of the Flies because she's sick of it.
This is my RP Forum, Tales of Symphonia Adventures, or ToSA for short. Please take a look?

Augh. The Scarlet Letter and Lord of the Flies are both terrible. Well, I haven't really read Lord of the Flies, but... that's because it's terrible and I couldn't. Give me Shakespeare any day... Speaking of which, I found out Mr. Keffner's trying to get Hamlet removed from the AP English curriculum! Something about Public School English being saturated with Shakespeare, and that Hamlet and The Glass Menagerie are the same play and he didn't want to cover them both... so I'll probably have to go through High School never reading Hamlet. OR King Leer, for that matter... AND I find out that THIS year in Shakespeare class they're reading Twelfth Night, which the jerks in MY Shakespeare class voted down in favor of Much Ado About Nothing! Idiots... Twelfth Night is a Shakespeare play about crossdressing! It just doesn't get any better than that!

Sigh... this is why I'm in AP English...

And I don't even get to read Hamlet.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Hi! Keep in mind, it's not like I'm just saying, "Gee, I'd rather go to holiday services than class today." (and it's Sukkot, it's not that hard to spell). It's more along the lines of, I believe that God doesn't want people working (and for full time students, school is basically our job) on that day so I'm not really allowed to go to school. It's a better excuse than traffic, if you ask me. Unless you're in an accident or drive into the middle of a grid lock and can't get out (which you likely should have noticed before getting into it), traffic jams generally aren't that hard to avoid. And, if you anticipate bad traffic, just leave early. I mean, if all the roads are blocked that's one thing but how often does that really happen? It's generally not too big of a deal if some people have to take a test another day or if they just don't schedule tests on major religious holidays.

Cha! I remember that at my primary school, they weren’t very considerate of other religions at the time. We are talking ten years ago here, when PC was not even ‘Personal Computer’ or ‘Politically Correct’, it is probably different now. There was one student that was not Christian (never found out what religion he was, if any), and at assembly, they would always single him out by says “Everyone except Insert name, let us pray.” And then they would make us pray to god. I hated it, I wasn’t sure what I believed at the time, and if you didn’t pray, they’d shout at you.

Our sex Ed class began at 14 or 15. The first few were about how to do it and what to use. the second lot was about STDs, with MASSIVE pictures on a projections screen. No Q&A thought. The whole experience was very disturbing.

Might as well take out Merchant of Venice because it's racist AND there's a hint of the guys having a thing for each other.

The only Shakepsear's plays I've read were Merchant of Venice, Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, and Hamlet.

I had to do Hamlet twice because when I switched schools in grade 12, they had Hamlet for grade 12 and I already did it in grade 11.

So basically I missed out on McBeth.

I only did Othello in Year 12. Mostly because they were deciding to cut back on the amount of Shakespeare done in Snr English. (More shalespeare was done in Drama I think... idk)

I quite liked Othello. It had a good story and everything. It was the first on I had tried to read a bit of and actually iunderstood. I shcoked myself by understanding it actually! I mean I did have to look up a couple of words, but for the most part I just read it.

Most of the class didn't get it (mostly because I was the only one who actually read it all- the rest just went through the plot outline basically becasue they looked at the old english kinda stuff and went WTF??) and I told mum, and she said she never got Shakespeare either... I GOT GOOD MARKS IN THAT ASSIGNMENT BECAUSE I FOUND MY OWN QUOTES INSTEAD OF JUST USING THE EXAMPLE ONES GIVEN BY THE TEACHER.

Does this mean I'm smarter than the people around me or does it mean that I can just understand weird things (like frames of reference in relation to 'theory of relativity' Physics) that other people go "WTF??" over?

Hmm. I also got better marks than the rest of the class, because I was the only one who actually read all of the Lord of the Flies book. I actually liked that book!

My English teacher was often dissapointed in my class... maybe that's the reason I got the highest mark in the class- everyone else was stupid/lazy.

I was too smart for the dumber class, but too dumb for the smartest class... Oh well.

Wow, long post... about stuff people prolly don't really care about... I think it's too late for cola.
