Our school colors are blue 'n' gold.
At football games, the marching band has one one song called "Eat 'em up" which we play (about 10 measures long) and then shout "Eat 'em up! Eat 'em up! Let's go Blue!"
I think there's another, but it's escaping me at the moment.\
Our Marching band uniforms are pretty spiffy. The school just got theme 4 or so years ago, so they're really nice.
Well, off to school I go!

I used to be in my school's marching band, but my school's blue and white. Blue and Gold was for my elementary school, though.
The band plays this song called "Seminole Chop" (since we're the Warriors), and people in the crowd make a chopping motion with one hand. I guess that's sort of like "eat 'em up".

Us too, 'cept our mascot is an eagle! Not sure why, that's just how it is.

Eagles are American.

Err, we're the Lakers. Blue and Yellow.

Weird! My elementary school team was blue and yellow, and our mascot was an eagle! We were the Blazers, though.

Yes, I know it was Atma that spoiled it, but you went on like it was all cool, and said it was ok to post spoilers because it had stopped airing. Seriously? I've been watching Code Geass, for free, legally. So explain to me how breaking copyright laws equals caring? Especially considering there was hardly any delay in the dubbing. Episode 22 just aired and they're going straight in R2 after it's done. AND that you can't possibly complain about the dub. Liam O'Brien Lloyd just kind of... wins.

Not sure if anyone remembers, but over the summer I went to a camp called Camp Gottalikachallenge (AKA Gotta camp), and we're having a reunion! I'm very excited, even though I only have gone to that camp for one year (which, unfortunatley, must be my last since I'm too old) I missed everyone when we had to leave. Some of the people are from Vermont or New York, but they're still coming. And, since 3 Gotta Campers are in the Marching Band, they're coming to the game! Whoo!
I'm sooo excited to be seing them again. Though I've only known them a week, it feels like I've known them forever. Us weird kids just bond like that.

What is homecomeing anyway? We don't have it here and the closest thing we have to 'spirit days' are being able to dress up for sports/swimming carnivals (Always fun to see the guys dressad as females...) or wearing Maroon or Blue Jerseys (QLD or NSW) for the State of Origin...

Homecoming is a celebration centering around the returning of the football team, or more realistically, the football team plays a game at 'home' instead of 'away' for the first time in a while, and it is celebrated with a school-wide dance. Spirit week is just doing dumb things to represent your school spirit a week before the homecoming, such as wearing pajamas, crazy hats, clothes on backwards, or school colors. It's just an excuse for a dance.

Homecumming is a game that, well, I don't know what homecomming is really, seeing as we've been at away games for one game and the rest was at home. But I least I got to dress up in cool costumes and run around.
