Just got threw season 4, part 1 of the new naruto DVD, got to wait until October for the rest, luckly for me I know an internet website were they are all uploaded in English dub. I have however, also been watching Azumanga Daioh that I randomly got for 3 for a £10 in blockbusters on Saturday. I LUV IT! I feel so sorry for Sakaki, all she want to do is strock the cat, and the demon keeps biting here! I’ve seen 15 so far, but now I’m out of DVD eps, so I guess I better hit the net.

At least I get to be Rank Leader this year. Which would be cool but I get absolutely no respect from my section, neither does the section leader nor the drum majors. I knew I should've taken up the trumpet.
Rank leader?
We only have section leaders, a drum major and assistant drum majors.
We only have 3 trumpets (all of us are freshmen, but the other two took high school marching band last year (8th grade). Our band is weird like that.), so we have a section leader for the brass section (all 6 of us). We have 1 trombone, 3 trumpets, 1 tuba and 1 mellophone (I think that's what it's called....)
But, band practice is going MUCH better than band camp. 6 hours of drilling a day in the hot sun was NOT fun.
What instrument do you play? I play trumpet, if you didn't already pick that up. :P

Poik and I play the clarinet. And I don't know about you Poik, but even though the clarinets in my school can be pretty...odd, they do follow everything their section leaders say. The two juniors are pretty silly, which is fine by me, but the senior. She's *shudder* normal. You can't be a clarinet section leader and be normal at the same time! It's just plain wrong! But I digress. Saber, how many people are in your band anyway? With only three trumpets and one trombone, it must be very small. I think my band has about two-hundred people.

Whatitdo? I posted both topics for my little RP experiment. To any staff who may be concerned, DON'T LOCK EITHER TOPIC! I assure you the backstories may start out the same, but both are going in different directions. Trust me when I say "I know what I'm doing and these are not duplicate topics" So yeah. That said, who's interested in joining?
Oh my God, you guys. Ok. Oh my God. My life. I have AP English first period. 7:20 AM. The teacher! The teacher is Mr. Keffner. I was in his drama class last year. And he's like the best thing ever. That is, except for KT-sama, who is God incarnate, and who is also in my AP English class! So. My life. Is. A Happy fun time.
Oh, and we have to wear 'Student ID badges' now. Every day. Which is wierd. I put my Otakon badge in there. Because Allen is cooler than my school picture from last year where I looked drunk.
Um... What else... Atma, I'm joining your roleplay, make an OOC thread.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate." Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

*mouth drops open* Two HUNDRED!! We have about 40 or 41 people!
We don't respect our section leader very much. :P
3 of my friends play the clarineet, and their section leader is the older sister of one of them. It was really funny, my friend Sam (he plays the clarinet) gets distracted easily and he keeps moving at attention, and their section leader keeps getting in trouble because of this. So, she had him stand at attention and then kept jumping around him shouting "Look at me! I'm distracting you! DISTRACTION!" It was really funny to watch.

Well, it's acctually around 150 to 200. I need to check. But anyway, all our section leaders are very respected. We all listen to them. Well, one or two don't, but their just the trouble makers or idiots.
Oh Silver, do you go to a city school? The Memphis city schools are doing that to reduce the amount of absences and fights. I don't know how that will work and I think it's pretty stupid.
Oh, and I had a mentor meeting with my freshmen's English class. It was a total disaster! First of all, everybody was looking for the group leader so I was the only mentor in a room full of thirty freshmen. When the other mentors got back, the leader wasn't with them, so we had to start with out him. We were going to talk about clubs, but he had all the infomation. On top of that, all the freshmen were yelling, getting out of their seats, not being quiet when one of the mentors were speaking. It got so loud that the teacher sent two of the fresmen outside. Luckly, none of my freshmen were acting up(they're all girls. Lucky me). It just got way out of hand. *sigh* Why couldn't I be in an honors English class?

Last year we had 180ish bandies, but this year it dropped to 150ish because we're in a new school and because our Marching Band instructor was kinda a jerk last year (more so than usual anyway).
One of my online friends was in a marching band of 25. I saw it once, they were tiny.
There are only 2 seniors in the Clarinet section including me, and around 4 juniors I think, (out of 22) thus, the jerks can reign supreme. Also, rank leader is second in command, in case the section leader cannot fulfill her duties, or extra leadership is required. I actually was picked for Section Leader (which, don't tell her, I really wanted) but I gave it up for a friend who both deserved it more and had less to go on her college resume than me.
Oi.
Hmm... This signature just got really short... Blastitar♂ (Water) Attacks: Bite, Water Gun, Crunch, Rock Slide (Wins 15, Losses 0) Torrent&Shed Skin
Sandiyama♂ (Ground, Fighting) Tackle, Vital Throw, Swift, Arm Thrust (Wins 8, Losses 0) Guts&Sand Veil
Swalectrode (Electric, Poison) Attacks: Yawn, Tackle, Sludge, Screech (Wins 5, Losses 0) Exp:30 Static&Liquid Ooze Status: Lost T.T
Our Section Leader pretty much became Section Leader by default.
4 out of 6 brass are freshmen (3 having been in the band before) and the other is an assistant drum major.
We tease our Section Leader plenty, and don't really respect him much, but we listen to him all the same.
Our biggest section is probably the clarinets, actually.
Agh. School starts tomorrow. And after that I have marching band practice, some downtime, then my first ice hockey practice of the year. Oy.
May the Triforce be with you.
