Butoku no Gakkou

No doubt the japanese title at least got people to view this *sweatdrop* and hopefully join this RP.

Anyways, basically the title translates to mean "school of the martial arts" which is what this RP is about. Basically, your character(s) enroll in a school. You represent your family which, hopefull, has passed down a style of fighting through the family. Fighting styles CAN incorperate chi and ki and the sort of energy you see in all those animes >.<

Basically, preliminary exams are coming up.... in the form of a tournament. I don't really want to be exact on the plot... so whatever develops is whatever develops.

I'll post my characters if at least a few people join... otherwise, might as well not

I’ve not RPd for a while; I’ll try this one out and see if I can get back into the swing of it.

Name: Shauni Calistoga the third (Calistoga is a city located in Napa County, California. I just liked how the name sounded.)
Gender: Female
Age: 22
Clan: The Calistoga Clan. Know more affectingly as the ‘The Iron blade of god’
Fighting style: The Calistoga clan has many generations of kendo students under its belt, but it resent years it has adapted to incorporate may varieties of sword fighting style, including English fencing, Roman short sword, Caribbean cutlass and a variety of Brazilian street fighting. The incorporated moves have allowed the school to develop an endless variety of sword fighting techniques, many of which are original to the school. The school’s most famous technique if the infamous ‘The Sword Dancer’, in which the student uses the blade in such a fluid yet unpredictable motion, they appear to be dancing with the blade.
Weapon(s): Any type of swords, but most students use samurai swords because of the schools history with kendo.
Appearance: Shauni has shoulder length caramel hair that she keeps tied tightly back in a high pony tail. She has perusing blue eyes and a slightly tand completion, making her look exotic. She has a muscular, but flattering build and she is on the short side. She has one long scar that runs a cross her chest, the top visible on her left shoulder.
Personality: Shauni is very quite and reserved, not specking unless she has something to say. She generally goes with the flow, not really imputing into group plans unless she thinks the general consensus is stupid. She has a weakness for small animals and children, displaying uncharacteristic affection onto them. She is hard to anger, but when she has become irritated, she loses her reserved fasard and quickly loses her temper, sometime snapping at others over silly little things. She isn’t quick to forgive.

I'm not too much of a martial arts person, so I'll pass. Though I think you mean "Butoku no Gakkou." "Gakkou no Botoku" would become "school's martial arts."

Personality: He's just an extremely jolly fellow. And he also really likes to drink. A lot. So it's really quite convenient that that's the key to his fighting style. He's quick to anger, but also very quick to laugh. He has no reserved emotions, really.

Clan: The Echani clan {known for their efficiency}
Fighting style: Well, he's very...well, efficient. He uses brutal moves-chops, snap kicks, etcetera. He doesn't do anything for show, every single movement has a distinct purpose.
Weapon(s): N/A
Appearance: A rather small, spindly fellow. red hair. usually in very spartan clothing (not like the clothing of the spartans, it's just very...well, nothing fancy.}}
Personality: Very cold. makes sarcastic comments alot. Often beats people up if they annoy him.

Fighting style: The style uses the quick blows to attack the enemy, utilizing ki for a destructive addition to the attacks, and chi to defend from attacks.

Appearance: 6' 2'', Medium length black hair, mostly wears street clothes, like leather jackets and them people do.
Personality: Doesn't take fighting seriously much, mostly treating it like a game

Fighting style: Her style is quick and relaxed, trying to reserve ki and chi in the body for a longer endurance in battle. She uses many spinning motions to build chi around her and uses the ki flowing around her enemy against them.

Appearance: 5' 9'', shoulder length darkest brown hair with lighter brown highlights, Wears typical teenage girls clothing, more conservative though.
Personality: Calm but Frim, espeacially dealing Shun

Fighting style: Using her Bou Staff, she throws herself into the air pole-vaulting style, then attacks from above. Of course, she can use the staff in the normal way, too... but you can't say 'Death from Above' if you're just beating someone senseless with a stick.
Weapon: Bou Staff (Think Donatello from the Tenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)
Appearance: White hair kept in a ponytail (...this is my normal bird character turned human. She's got white feathers, therefore she's got white hair), a white shirt with a feather logo on the front and one sleeve torn off (I don't know, I guess she thinks it's cool. Or maybe it got in the way of her death from aboves) and loose black shorts.
Personality: Um, Mori is... Mori. Kuso. Mori just kind of spawned one day and has been Mori-ing ever since.
