((WE'RE ALLOWED TO HAVE LEGENDARIES?! Ok, Team editting time! *puts it in sig* I think I'll actually be able to make this fit the real Silver... as in, the one I use for neopets guild rps. And Shauni, I did not say Silver took the TM for Fire Punch! And if that's what it sounded like, sorry, but he didn't! Just read my post! How much do I need to accent the word LATER?!))

((Lets just drop that one ok? As for legenderys, I dont like using them, so I wont be, I prefer beating people with pokemon I raised from nothing))

"Deno! Mega Punch it!!"

Deno went flying towards Sandflash, its fist speeded towards it, striking it, but it was quickly counterd by a slash, noking Deno down, but not out

"Damn! Did that do ANY damage?!?!?!"

"Alright.... Looks easy enough."

"Are you BLIND?!? If they can't beat it, how will we?"

"Oh, my sister. You have forgotten my secret."

They Mike and Sara came out from the shadows, but they where no longer in rocket uniform. Both, had worn a maching pair of cover-alls and white shirt. Now, you could see they both had a full head of jet black hair.

"Wheres that stupid zubat of yours?"
Sara asked, refurring to Mikes dumb downed Zubat friend.

"He's not stupid! His IQ went over 1.3! That more than you're normal Zubat, i'll have you know!"

"Riiiiiight.

*After Grovyle's Razor Leaf attack missed, Vibrava hit the distracted hybrid with Dig. Since it was super effective, it appeared to do something, but not enough to stop Sandflash from battling...*

"Fudge Crackers! Grovyle, Razor Leaf again!"

"Mega Punch again!"

"Hold on... who are you?"

"Well..."

"Uh..."

"We are the..." Sara did some quick thinking.

"Kimani Twins!" Mike burst out, making up a fake name for them. "I am.... Sam, and this is..." He just then ran out of ideas.

"Uhhh, er. I'm A-amber? Yeah! I'm Amber."

{Kimani Twins?} Sara thought to herself, and giving Sa- I mean Mike an odd look.

"Yeeeeaaahhh.... It it too late to join up on the job offer?" Mike held up the Trainer's add.

Fading beneath an oncoming megapunch, the sandflash finaly had enough toying around. Dropping back with a series of hops it kicked a gout of sand towards Deno's eyes right before it struck the ground with a shrill cry, its body whirling around like a dig yet instead of going anywhere it started up a sandstorm that quickly spread to engulph the battlefield. During the confusion of the sandstorm it took aim and set off a second type of sandstorm, one known as sandtomb to contain and brutalize the vibrava. A soft glow flared to life around the Sandflash briefly before fading into its skin as leftovers did their part to keep things going.

On the other side of things, the Gengar, bored of hiding in sara...er..Amber's shadow burst out with shout of <Gengar!>.
of course it would have helped if that had been all, but eager to make things fun for the trainers, Gengar attempted to hypnotise anyone that happened to have looked in his direction when he shouted. Laughing mischeviously as wave after wave of rippling psychic energy leaked from his eyes to bring the human minds under his control...nothing like the dreams of a few stupid humans to fill his belly full of laughs.

On another note, one by one, pokegear phones began ringing, apparently the Doc had been alerted that they'd come in contact with the first target.

(-OOC I know yall like to post as quickly as possible, but do you think you could toss a little description in there too? One line is so bland, I want something to stir the imagination of the reader, surely your pokemon puts a little twist on its moves /OOC-)

"No, please, HELP US!"

"Yeah, we can use all the help we can get..."

"Yeah... Vibrava, Dig!" *The Ground/Dragon buried itself underground, escaping from the Sand Tomb and preparing to attack Sandflash again.*

"And I'll get rid of that Gengar... Woah... don't look at it! Deno, Bite!"

"Huh? oh... It's using Hypnosis! Grovyle, Pursuit!"

"Hey, you guys know your Pokegears are ringing, right?"

"...They are?"

(-OOC Yeah yeah, it's bright just highlight it with a click or two and read on! /OOC-)

Grah, too many insects to swat! The Sandflash was growing tired of the sheer number of attackers that it had to deal with, they were interfering with its efforts in making a territory for its mate to enter...would it be forced to call her for aid? No!! he would prove that he was the right choice for breaking out with! Electricity arc'd out from the sandflash's tail like a shotgun blast toward the grovyle as it executed a somewhat clumsy backflip before following the vibrava underground, its tail temporarily grounding out as it tunneled.

The Gengar was amused at the fact that one of the pokemon had made the mistake of looking his way. This was getting better than he could have thought possible! Switching attacks the Gengar began emitting decidedly negative waves in the form of nightmare. He couldn't wait to see what inner demons he could bring out of those that got caught. Oh what impatience he felt, so much so he didn't even wait to see already he was drooling at the thought of the dream eater he was going to use next! Perhaps that was why he didn't notice he was under attack until too late and the pursuit struck it, sending it flying away to dig a furrow in the sand as it skidded and bounced. <Gaaarrrr>
Jumping up the Gengar clenched his fists, dark energies growing within and around them until he flung them forward at the grovyle in the form of a raging shadowball.

"Look out Grovyle!" *Grovyle ducked and didn't take full damage from the pwerful ghost-type attack, but was still hit hard* "Crud... use Pursuit again!"

"Deno, use... crap! He fell asleep! Do you plan to help at all?!"

"Maybe later."

"Ok, I'll just fight BOTH of them by myself over here..." *Vibrava dug its way back up from underground, finding that its target had followed it.* "Just wait for it to try to attack, Dig can't do anything to you..." (It's got Levitate)

The Sandflash burst from the ground near where the Vibrava had escaped but found its target out of reach. Giving a somewhat cute little snarl of frustration the thing decided it could vent its rage on someone else and who better than the one called Deno? This choice made, the thing dug its claws into the soil, effectively ground its body as it began channeling massive amounts of electrical energy. Arcs of plasma and thunder jumped between its dorsal spines and its tailblades and then the whole creature went rigid. An instant later it opened its mouth and spewed forth a mighty orb of pure electrical destruction known as Zapcannon toward the sleeping Deno. 

The Gengar grinned harshly as it noted the incoming pursuit, the Gengar drew a spike of darkness from the air and plunged it into its body with a grunt of pain as it sacrificed energy to curse its attacker into joining it in defeat.

*Josiah watched carefully as Shandflash used Zap Cannon. In the confusion of the battle, none of the others had noticed just how bright the sun had become. Now it was time.* "Venasaur, now! Solar Beam!!!" *With Sunny Day in effect there was no need to charge. The blast hit Sandflash dead on, sending it flying.*

"Nice one!"

"Again!" *While Sandflash was still in the air Vensaur had fired off another Solar Beam and then another. By the time it hit the ground, Sandflash had been struck by three Solar Beams. It struggled to its feet unsteadily, very weak.*

(-OOC Personally I refuse to control the actions of someone I don't know pretty well /OOC-)

How had he managed to lose track of that piece of food? The indignity of being pounded so fiercely by something he should be snacking on! The glow of leftovers did little to soothe the agony of having been hit so many time with so vicscious an attack, his only saving grace is that he'd had time between the first and second shots to curl into a ball and allow his spines to reflect away some of the energy from the the next two beams. Wisely though, he unrolled before hitting the ground and did his best to look beaten. If he let on that he had fight left in him, they might muster up a propper finishing attack. But what to do? Retreat seemed like a good idea, why not just run away? Looking down at the furrows his claws had dug into the sand after landing, he decided on his course of action. All electrical output ceased leaking from its normally plasmic tail and its form seemed to ripple and shimmer as it altered its abilities quietly. This done it raised its head and declared its defiance with a single cry, then with a a leap it whirled into a blur of claws once more, striking the ground with a jolt that initiated one of the very earthquakes that had identified it as being in this location. Wisely it didn't halt there, burrowing further still into the ground with the intent of burrowing away to seek a lair elsewhere.

"HAY! Its getting away!" yelled shauni
"NO WAY ITS GETTING AWAY AFTER ALL THAT!!!"

She fell to her feet, and covered her face with a hand, hidding tears
"Thats the first thats ever got away.....hum?"
She noiced that there was an odd round objext on the floor infront of her, she lent over to pick it up. It was bright red in colour and had a shard of glass sticking out of the top, with two electrical wires hanging out of the back

"This is of a genetic modifyer..." whispered shauni
She pockted the peace quickly, hidding it from the others

Unbenoste to the others, shauni's father was a genetics resercher, she used to spend lots of time with him at his lab, however, he was killed in what was dubed a 'lab fire' on a privet reserch project, the causes of the fire unknow....but she had heared rummors of an escaped clone pokemon, code name Mewtwo......

(-OOC There are no mechanical parts on my splicers, and no power limiters either....and does no one stop and answer the phone? My goodness, ashe and that lot nearly broke their necks every time their gear even made a peep! And what about the earthquake...I don't recall that being an attack you can just ignore, sure flying types but everyone isn't using flying types, let's see some folks falling over, I want some scuffed knees and elbows. /OOC-)

 He could feel the vibration of distant pursuit, but it wasn't close enough to overtake him. He needed to warn the others, but more importantly he needed to lose this group and get some rest. He saw his chance when he felt roots above him...oddish! It was a field of oddish! Tunnelling upward he burst from the ground in their midst, unrolling mid air to slice the leaves off of several of them with a slash, catch them in his jaws and reroll all before he could strike the ground once more and continue burrowing. It wasn't much, but it might be the edge he needed to keep going, but where was he going to hide out? Mt. Moon was too far away...wait, diglette cave wasn't too far. Chewing on the dig, he turned towards that dark hole in the ground in which he hoped to find solitude to recover from this battle.


The earthquake hit him like a bomb, being a poison type and already wounded, he hadn't the energy to take the abuse. His only spitefull satisfaction was that his curse would take his opponent with him into unconsciousness....Stupid grovyle! And so ended the menace of the terrible gengar that just wanted to pick on a few rockets and instead got caught up in a major dispute.

(-OOC On second thought...I'll allow the device, we'll call it something the flash stole to use as a decoration for his lair. /OOC-)
