Bael did a mighty leap, lifting his axe, and slicing the Hollow's arm off, landing and shaking the ground. He stood up, and brought his axe up to a defensive position, glancing over at Yuki, smirking. "You left your guard down."

Rath hopped off his brother's shoulders, and looked down, pulling his weapon out, peering out. "Brother, there are people down there already."

(Also, I editted Rath's size. He's smaller than Rune.)

(Seeing as no one's complained about Kagebana, I'll go ahead and enter. I also changed her text color from Steel Blue to Dark Green, as it fits her better.)

"Um...excuse me..." A small voice came from somewhere just behind Rune. "I was, uh, sent to help the other Shinigami here...in case they got injured..." There was a small intake of breath. "Wow, lots of people here..." Kiku peered past the vice-captain, staring up at the Hollow. "It's so big..." After a moment, she seemed to remember where she was and looked nervously around, one hand on the band of her medical bag. "Um...can I do anything to help...?"

Kusa stayed a few yards behind the other Shinigami, muttering a string of words that weren't even human in origin. It was one of the stronger restraining Kido spells. Once the last word was uttered, the Kido was cast on the Hollow. The beast tried to move about freely and thrash its way through some unseen force, but it could barely take a step. Kusa then ran and jumped into the air, striking for the head and shoulders. His attempt for the head missed, but there was now a large portion of the beast's shoulder and neck missing. "Ha! Take that!", he said, landing back with the others.

Rune patted Rath's head a few times. "I know that you're anxious to fight, but let's wait in the reserves for now, all right? If they get into trouble, we'll go and help them." That was when the girl approached them. She appeared very timid, but kind. "There's nothing to worry about at the moment, Miss. Though, in case someone down there is injured, you should stay.", Rune replied to her, smiling.

Marley jumped up and plunged his 2 swords into the monsters head
Take that he said as the monster died and dissipated into the air

"Ooh, it's dead..." Kiku remained gazing where the Hollow had been seconds before, then looked down and noticed another Shinigami. "...Who's he...? I've never seen him before...is he a new Shinigami? I wonder what division he's in...?" She remained standing behind Rune and his twin, thinking these and other such thoughts. She didn't dare introduce herself first, waiting for her superiors to go before she did.

(She hasn't been out of Soul Society often if she's impressed by that...and by "superiors," I'm referring to all the other Shinigami. Since she's unseated, she's technically the lowest-ranked present. Even if someone else is unseated, she's still waiting to go last 'cause she's in the fourth division.)

Daryl yawned and picked himself off of the ground. "That was a nice nap... Hey?" Daryl stared at the gathered shinigami. "Is this a cosplay convention or something? Who the heck are you people?"

Yuki frowned "You don't have to say it like that Bae-chan" she said in reply "But thanks for protecting me..."

The hollow feel with a thud and started to fade away.

Daryl yawned and picked himself off of the ground. "That was a nice nap... Hey?" Daryl stared at the gathered shinigami. "Is this a cosplay convention or something? Who the heck are you people?"

"Me?" asked Yuki in reply "I'm Kyohaku Yuki from the 10th squad!" She said smiling proudly "Who are you?"

"I'm Rune Silvermoon, Lt. of 6th Squad, and this is my twin brother and assistant, Rath. Nice to meet you.", Rune said, putting away his Zanpakuto.

"The name is Kusa Miyazaki, Vice Cpt. of 10th Squad!", Kusa introduced himself rather loudly, as he liked being noticed. "That was a nice warm-up, eh, Bae-chan?", he said, turning to look at the other Shinigami.

He smirked to Kusa. "Nice. I don't see how slicing an entire Hollow's arm off could even compare to making a hole." He said with much sarcasm. "I'm Bael, resident powerhouse of the 10th squad. Oh, and I keep the vice capt. in line." Thumps Kusa on the back of his ear.

Rath merely got an innocent face, and waved to Kiku. "Hello!" He's cute, very cute.

Kiku turned rather pink when she noticed Rath waving at her. She smiled nervously back, then dipped into a rather deep bow to the assembled Shinigami and human. "I'm Suzume Kiku, unseated officer in the Fourth Division. I look forward to working with you..." She straightened up and glanced at the two vice-captains, waiting for instructions. She knew that as a healer, she wouldn't be able to help against the many Hollows that were bound to appear. (Unless, obviously, they wind up fighting one that deals a lot of damage. Then she could do something more offensively oriented.)

Rai disposed of Hollow with ease, one shot through it's head was always enough to take one down "*sigh* That's the 5th one today..." he said "What the heck is going on?"

===Later===

Another Hollow attacked Rai "You think you can defeat me, petty human, u are no match for the likes of..." the Hollow was interupted by an arrow, aimed at it's head, luckly, it dodged "Fine then, looks like i'll have to go all out!" it said, charging a Cero blast from it's mouth

===meanwhile===

The commotion of all of the shinigami's and one human was silenced, by the ringing of numerous mobiles. This was then followed by an explosive blast.

"Ooh, it's a big one!" said Yuki in excitement "Nice meeting you all! Bye Bae-chan!!" she said, moving towards the explosion, too fast for anyones eyes to catch up with.

===Back to before===

Rai barely dodged the blast, having been badely injured by the explosion.

The Hollow attacked again, Rai, only barely getting out of the way of the attacks "Not so tough now are you?" said the Hollow "You have no idea what I am!"

"I know, your just like the rest of them. Your a Hollow!"

"That IS true, but I'm not simply JUST a Hollow" said the creature, charging up for another Cero blast.

"Looks like this is it..." said Rai, looking up at the sky.

(Well yeah, you decide if you wanna follow Yuki)

"Awwwwwww...I want a super cool phone that alerts me when hollows come.....oh well......ill have to follow that chick to the next one!" Marley looked back "you guys coming?"

"Oh no..." muttered Kiku under her breath. "I hope no one was badly hurt..." With a hurried bow to the others and a muttered apology for going first, she hurried off after Yuki. As she ran lightly across the rooftops of the town, she tugged on the band of her medical bag, bringing it to the front. She deftly unzipped the bag and drew something dark green and extremely short from it.

The instant she rezipped the bag and pulled it back to its original position, she spotted the Hollow. "It's even bigger than the last one..." Then she noticed the Quincy, who had apparently given up on fighting. Without hesitating, she darted past the Hollow--who hadn't noticed her since she had been behind it--grabbed the Quincy's arm with her free hand, and pulled him out of the way of the Cero blast.

"You okay...?" she asked the Quincy. She quickly assessed the damage from the first Cero. It wasn't too bad, but he'd be disabled for a while. Kiku debated a little with herself. Should she release her zanpakutou, or should she just focus on healing the boy? Deciding she should at least be a little more helpful, she stood up and drew her dagger, sticking the sheath into her sash. "Please wait here," she told the Quincy. "I'll heal you in a moment..."

(What happens next depends on you guys. If you want to finish off this Hollow quickly, go ahead. Judging by the plot, Kiku will have other chances to release her zanpakutou. However, if all the other Shinigami arrive and don't kill it, Kiku will use her shikai to heal Rai and deal some damage of her own. That okay?)
