"Sweet! And you said we, like, didn't have to pay, dawg? Word up!" Tim shouted, eyeing the food hungrily. It was just then he realized that they hadn't eaten anything since they arrived the day before.

Joshua nibbled a bit on part of the meal. His thoughts were with his missing teacher... he was aware of what happened to the LeoSimeon of the Realm of Leonhart... Still, Joshua knew his companions were not superhuman, and they needed the food.

Out of impulse, Joshua spoke to Wally, "Um... Mr. Baker? Would you like to come with us?"

Quite understandably, Wally was suprised. "Err.why do you ask?" he asked the small child. "And where would we be going?" he sat down in a nearby chair. He did have another worker he could turn the bakery over, but he wouldn't go off for no reason. He was a bit bored, come to think of it. He thought that if it was a good enough reason, then he would go with them, for a change of pace, or an escape from his somewhat dull life.

"We could use a chef in our wanderings," Louanne speculated innocently, "and you'd certainly have more fun than just lounging around here cooking food for the people who come by. Course, you'd still be cooking for people, but you get to travel as well." The girl smiled to let him know she was joking, then sobered up. "As to where we're going...We're looking for Ezekiel, who was captured by the Kohler last night."

He paled a bit. "So...you're venturing towards the most dangerous personon the face of the planet? And you want me to come along simply to cook for you." he said, furrowing his brow. "Sorry, but my food doesn't bring people back from the dead, I reccomend you go to the shrine for that." he said. "And in my humble opinion, a dull life in my bakery is better than no life at all." he shruged. "Unless, of course.....you're stronger than you look." he said, finally. "Because you don't look like you could battle even my Kippie without suffering heavy losses." he snorted.

Edit: for some reason, I never had a font. I'll use orange italics, if that's okay with everyone.

"I was only kidding about the cooking part," Louanne pointed out, rather hurt. "Although I won't deny I'm probably no good. I only have these two guys, and they've only fought once." She let out her two monsters, who started looking around curiously at their surroundings.

"Alright. Point taken. I don't know why, but I feel that I should join you. Weird." he said. "Anyways....I suppose I'll join you. But I'll have it be known that if I come, I want to be an equal particiant in this. no way I'm sitting back and watching." he snorted again. "If you want me with you, it's either as a full member, or not at all. None of this stay behind and cook stuff." he said. "Are we clear?" he asked, tilting his head.

Kilth was walking around the town. He stretched and yawned.

"Hey you!"

"Who... Me?"

"Yes! You! How would you like to buy this Rare, One of a Kind, Jeiko Monster Card?"

Kilth just blinked. "Uh... WHat does it do?"

"He is super powerful! And he's already been taken to the shrine!"

"Uh... sounds good! How much is it?"

"How much you got?"

"300 whatevers."

"SOLD!" The seller quickly gave Kilth the card, took the money, and ran off.

Kilth just shrugged and looked at the card...

"Like I said, I was only kidding about that part," Louanne insisted. Icekit pawed at her foot and blinked at her inquisitively. The girl picked up her monster and walked to the nearest wall, where she sat down. Flamewing hopped over to her, wanting to be cuddled as well.

((Sorry. I'm all really active, so it irks me when things stand still for more than a day or so. Sorry....))

"Uh....there are plenty of chairs..." he said, indicating the entire bakery, which was empty except for the heroes. "And that wall isn't very structurally stable. It's actually had someones hand...er...hook stuck in it on more than one occasion, i wouldn't test someone's weight against it." he said, folding his arms. "Well, what do you all thikn about me accompanying you? And quite possibly being disemboweled in the proccess? Although, normally Kohler monsters don't aim for your bowels...." he finished thoughtfully.

"Thanks for the offer, but I'll stay here," Louanne said, a small smile lighting up her face. "It's safer for my monsters if I play with them on the ground. I won't lean on the wall though."

"Fine with me, dawg, as long as you're willing to cook from time to time so we don't, all, like, word, die! 'Cause my cooking's wiggidy-whack." Tim added, scarfing down anything he could get his hands on, as Blue Wings, who had just appeared out of its card, pecked any crumbs that happened to fall on the ground. Tim glanced down at his escaped monster, and it reminded him to ask, "Oh, yeah, and what kinds of monsters do you have? Um... dawg?"

"Very well, if you wish to stay there, so be it, I hope you are true to your word." he turned back around to face the other heroes, who were still eating. "I guess you're all hungry..." he said, wide-eyed. he had expected them to be finsihed long before now. ((I thought for a second you said, eating everything in sight, including blue wings, who had escaped his card somehow' at first, then, I re-read it, and realized that Tim did not try to eat his own monster.)) "Hmm? Oh, my monsters. Hold on." he ran bak in to the other room, and came back with a book. he read a passage, then attepmted to flick his wrist, and two cards appeared in his hand, soon flying on to the floor. "Hmm. I still can't do that right." he said, rereading the book, as two monsters, a tiny red dragon with fragments of egg around it, and a small yellow bird (depicted below). "Oh. They summoned themselves..." he said. "indeed..these are my monsters, Dragoo and Kippie." he said.

Upon seeing new monsters they hadn't met yet, Icekit and Flamewing promptly ditched Louanne to check them out. Flamewing hopped toward "Kippie," blinking at the other bird. Icekit was sitting down two feet or so away from Dragoo, head tilted to one side. Louanne stood up, dusted herself off, and followed her monsters. "Hm...you have some very cute-looking monsters," she commented with a grin.

Wally sobered a bit. "Yes. yes i do. But I warn you, they've got nasty teeth! They'll do you right! They're vicious!" he said, sounding like Tim the enchanter.

"Actually, not so much. But they have deceptive looks. Trust me, they're at least as good as Snowpuff and Bigbeak you've got there." he tilted his head towards Louanne's monsters.

Kippie looked at the other bird strangely, tilting its head. It was shorter than flamewing, so it hopped up and down to try and see eye level with it.

Dragoo looked at Icekit quizically, then walked over and poked it.
