Well....
The whole set up for Comic about Carl is... interesting. The characters (well, I dunnu about Dume, but Carl and ICM do) know that they are in a comic, and that makes it kinda stange. As for backrounds, I considered "poofing" them in a while ago, but decided not to. The reason why would probably be cause I am lazy and that I get too... detailed in backrounds. I start hiding too many jokes in them, and I think that would kind of take away from the dialouge.
Storylines. You see, I'll get a little mini-storyline here and there, but look at comics in the newspapers. I wanted it to kind of be like that. No real plot, just the chatacters interacting with eachother.
Movement. Well, the comic is about some guys that stand around and talk all day. And thats just what they do. :P
SPECIAL EFFECTS!? DIDNT YOU SEE THE COMIC WHERE THE BOX CATCHES ON FIRE? :P. Dume's arms moving is about as far as special effects is gonna go.
