I guess it could be possible to trade if the wireless thing that came with LG/FR can interact with DS's wireless tech...but knowing nintendo...meh...I already caught them all in ALL the other games...do I have to do it again...

I think the FR/LG wireless adapters use different technology and the DS doesn't have anywhere to plug in a link cable. Although, if they decided to be really nice I bet they could set it up so you put your old Pok?mon game in the GBA cartridge slot and it transfers all your pok?mon to the new game in the DS cartridge slot. But I wouldn't count on it. -_-

I don't think that that would be possible except if you use one of the newer games for gba because the ds cant play old gameboy games

As soon as E3 happens, we should get more info. And yes the 500 thing sounds about right. Think about it.
R/B/G/Y - 1/151 - Bulbasaur/Mew
G/S/C - 152/252 - Chikorita/Celebi
R/S/E - 253/386 - Treecko/Deoxys
Original 151, then they added 100 more, then they added 135 more. So there is no real pattern, except that they are all in the 100s.

I do hope they don't come out with 100 more. That's just plan silly haveing that many to try and catch. I'll be happy with like 30 or 40 new ones, though they are running out of ideas real quick. I've seen some of the new ones and they mostly seem to be pre or evolve versions of ones that don't evolve (just look at the one for Sneazle. Looks very cool though :) )

Hmm... I'll be at E3 so I'll tell you if I see anything. As for new pok?mon, gah, there's enough already. Maybe they could just up it to 400 to make the number even and leave it there for a while. Instead of adding new pok?mon I'd rather they just made all 386 current pok?mon available in Diamond/Pearl. I mean, I like pok?mon but how can you catch 'em all when there's so many... :wacko:

Well here's some news about the game...

Junichi Masada, the Director of the upcoming games has revealed that he intends for D/P to go online to Battle and Trade worldwide via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Unfortunately no details of the game have yet to be revlealed.

i say that if they allway need to bring out new pokemon, they should add new one by making it so every one of them from the past games becomes one of three stages, that way they could all have there baby form, child form and adult for, or something like that. it just makes sence to me. that way they'd all seem to grow an age, except for maybe the legendary pokemon sence they cant be used in breeding.

That'd be neat. Although what I'd really like is if, between the 2 of them, D/P have all the pok?mon in them so I can complete my pok?dex without having to dig through my old games.
