Rant Title: Google Mail

Hello readers! I have a new ROM related e-mail address for all comments about Realm of Monsters. The address is realmofmonsters@googlemail.com. For my online friends with my old e-mail address, I ask you to keep using the one you have, as that is now my personal inbox for non-ROM related mail. Any readers that wish to contact me should use the googlemail.com address.

Things are going well on my end, but I will warn now I’m having a few major problems with my home laptop so I’m taking it to be looked at this weekend. Hopefully ROM updates won’t be interfered with, but just to pre-warn you if I go “online silent”.

Rant Title: Merlin Missingham, missing

Hey ya'll. My friend Merlin over at DHS Comix http://www.dhscomix.com/ is going away and needs some guest comics. I'm going to be making one for her when I get a chance, so if you read Random Encounter or New Game, why not help her out?

I'd also like to wish my Grandma and Grandad a Happy 50th Wedding Anniversary for this Saturday!

Rant Title: Naruto Shippoden and Merlin Missing!

Just wanted to link you to a Naruto Shippoden Fan animated I found on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIVXjnQn52w . It’s been done wonderfully, and depicts "Hinata’s Confession" http://www.onemanga.com/Naruto/437/12 / in the anime style. Don’t click either of the links if you don’t want Shippoden Spoilers. Just a note for people that actually speak Japanese, the voices were taken from Naruto and Bleach episodes and do NOT match the subtitles. It’s still been done very well.

There will not be a ROM comic this week due to excessive Final Fantasy 13-ness over the last few days. I will be finishing up a guest comic on Friday for Merlin, but the next update will be on or after the 19th march.

Rant Title: Yay for context!

As astute readers will know, Lilly’s mother Maple is referring to this event http://www.pebbleversion.com/ROM/ROMArc ... rip92.html all the way back in chapter 2, where Lilly ran into Ivy again for the first time. Obviously “Evergreen” takes place after the Dark Edge Invasion http://www.pebbleversion.com/ROM/ROMArc ... ip132.html mentioned in Chapter 4 and before the current story line. I like all the expressions the characters are showing in this comic. As depressing as they all are they were fun to draw.

No ROM comic this week. PC playing up again

no ROM comic this week, PC is still randomly crashing when I'm on it, going to get it looked at this weekend. i'm going to try to hog my dad's PC later so I'll atempted a ROM comic for Monday. thanks for understanding

No ROM comic this week, maybe not one next week. I'm reallly sorry, but with PC problems and a few things in real life, the comic is just on the back burner. i'll keep you posted

i havent fixed all the problems with my laptop, but most of the problems have been solved. I'm still having issues at boot up, but once the pc is on it seems to be okay, no blue screens in the middle or colouring a comic. it is my birthday tomoz, and i've got relatives coming all day today, just snuck away real quick to post this. all going well, ROM should be back maybe monday or wednesday!

Hey Shauni, I've been hearing a lot about the volcanish ash blowing over from Iceland. Are things okay where you are?

I've not really had any issues with the ash myself. Were I work has been hit as a lot of our clients air mail stuff to us. There has been chaos at our airports however. England has been a no fly zone for days, only now are flights landing. UK holiday makers have been stranded all over the world, costing them £100 or £1000 of pounds to get back over land and sea, hotel fees and car hire. I personally am okay, but ALL of the holiday makers, air lines and international businesses have been hammered.

Oh, I do have a thin layer of ash on my car though. Just looks like dirt.

Rant Title: Notice about updates

I'm so very sorry about update delays and not posting any news for so long...With persistent PC problems (I got one fixed then got another one!) and real life events (Eater, my Birthday and helping out family with different things, not to mention a full time job), plus a MAJOR creative flow blocking, I've decided to consed defeat and put ROM on hiatus (again...) until mid May. Now, there are a few reasons that the hiatus my last even longer that past May (my little sister is having a baby and is due in May!)but that is the date I'm setting for now.
I'll be returning from a weeks holiday in May and should have a bit more spare time by then. If anyone wants to help me out by sending me a guest comic, that would be great. ANYTHING is better than the gaping void that is ROM updates.

If you would like to submit a guest comic or filler art, my e-mail address is shaunI_san@hotmail.com. If you send them to the google mail account I've mentioned before, that's fine as well, but hotmail is the only one I've been checking regularly at the moment.

Again, sorry for the delays. This 'bonus holiday arch' (is April for Pete's sack!) has about 4 more comics and then I have a story arch with Josiah, Jeff, Silver and Opal as the center of attention (they are supposed to be the main characters after all!) The arch is a prequel to the ROM story line and is designed to help me get back into the swing of things, and also flesh out the main cast and re-establish the "Sucked into a computer game" theme of the comic. The arch will be called "Monster Age: Origins"

I went to the Calgary zoo the other day and there were loads of stranded poms. It was... kinda hilarious. The ticket lady asked me and my friend if we were unable to get back home to the UK too (everybody here picks up the English in my friend's accent, which annoys her no end. Super funny). It was like.... no we're here on purpose. Also Australian. :V

I'll totally help out with comics if I can - I've sent you an email about it.
