Disclamer for the editors of the Bolton Literary Maggazine: Should this story be found by editors of the literary maggazine on the look out for plagerizm, please note that the story you recieved and the story posted here were written by the same person.

The Haunted Mansion - one of Disneyland's many attractions, the white clapboard and green wrought iron antebellum mansion is the most famous. It attracts many park goers and doesn't fail to instill terror into even the boldest, most courageous person who traverses through its halls in the iconic doom buggies. But fear is not the only thing brought on by the Old South, antebellum mansion. It infixes curiosity, wonder, fascination, and thoughts of what goes on in the house of 999 haunts with room for one more. Allen Prescott was but one of these people. He was, to put it plainly, obsessed. One summer, when he was eight, his parents took a family vacation to all the Disney parks built at the time. This was every little boy's dream, him included, for it gave him the once-in-a-lifetime chance of experiencing every Haunted Mansion Disney has built, each of them different and unique. His absolute favorite was the Disneyland version. Due to living practically next door to the theme park, he frequented the antebellum mansion whenever he could.
So it was no surprise that Allen, now 17 and still captivated by the Mansion's macabre presence, planned to visit the Haunted Mansion at his favorite time of the year - All Hallows Eve. It was on this night that the manor's thankfully false ghosts became real. It was on this night that the paintings' “following” eyes were no longer an optical illusion. It was on this night that the Haunted Mansion was well and truly haunted. And it was on this night that Allen planned to experience this phenomenon first hand. Allen came over to that iconic building at least three times that day; as he expected, each visit was more realistic and terrifying than the last. In between his visits to the white-walled Mansion, Allen searched for an isolated area of the park, away from adventurous guests and safe from cast members searching for the stragglers who hadn't gone home yet when the park closed.
When night fell and the park's quotidian fireworks show was drawing to a close, Allen was hiding in a cluster of shrubs, just adjacent from the manor itself. Apparently the cast members, who worked at the ride every day, were all too happy to get away from the decrepit-looking Mansion.
So when the guests left the park and the employees went home for the day, Allen emerged from his hiding place and strode intently toward the grand double doors of the mansion. Allen reached out to open them when he spotted, attached to the wall next to the from doors, a small iron box with a slit on the top. Above this was an engraved plaque which read, “Mortals pay a token fee / Rest in peace, the haunting's free.”
“I wonder what that means,” he pondered, noticing that the box and plaque weren't there before. “It probably requires a payment to get in this way,” he deduced. With that in mind, Allen dug through his pocket and dropped some loose change into the box. No sooner had they fallen when the doors swung open with a slight creak.
“This is it,” he murmured. “My chance to witness the Haunted Mansion in it's most vivid, horrific, eerie state.” With that said, Allen stepped into the mansion with determined footsteps of anticipation. As soon as he was all the way in the Mansion, though, the double doors were sealed, as was his fate. It should be noted that Allen could have easily gone in the Mansion without paying, taken the tour, and then run away screaming after witnessing the terrors that were present in the Mansion. Sadly, his little adventure would be cut short.
The foyer was just as he expected it; flickering crystal chandeliers, ornately carved wood paneling, and tacky peeling wallpaper. The only thing absent was the resounding sound of the pipe organ. Then, just as Allen predicted, the familiar sound of the “Ghost Host” rang out. Only this time, his lines were different.
“Good evening. My, aren't you here late? In any case, welcome to our mansion during this special time of the year. I believe you know the drill by now, my dear Allen.” The dimly-lit gallery ahead of him was revealed and, though Allen was very surprised to hear Master Gracey call his name, he tentatively stepped in the gallery.
As expected, the doors behind him vanished, but what was unexpected was that the gallery was already in it's stretched state, the morbidly humorous portraits came to life and left nothing to imagination as to what would happen to the victims in them (Allen had to turn his head away when the keg of TNT blew up), and the candle-holding gargoyles were animate. By now, Allen lost a bit of his bravado, and it did not help that the gallery suddenly plunged into pitch-black. He was given a disturbing jolt when a flash of lightning briefly illuminated the room; with it, the grisly corpse of Master Gracey hanging on a noose, right in front of a now-terrified Allen. When the gallery was illuminated once more with flickering candle light, his hopes that the body would go away were dashed. The gruesome corpse was still there, this time standing of its own accord.
"Greetings and salutations, Allen. I thought that I should address our highly-anticipated one-thousandth haunt in my... material form.”
“O-one thousandth haunt?” Allen stuttered with apprehension.
“Why, yes. The moment you dropped those coins into that box out front, our mansion achieved one-hundred percent occupancy. So we do hope that you enjoy your stay at Disneyland's Haunted Mansion, because you're going to be staying here for quite some time! HAHAHAHAHA!”
Allen had no time to think about how he was going to escape, for what he saw next were the gargoyles - with their sinister, sharp teeth and swords in their hands instead of candles - descending upon him.

Why, yes, it is. And by evidence to the smiley and the large bold font, I'm assuming you liked it.

Not to bug you or anything, but vary = very. I've seen that in a few places.
